摘要: A vehicle seat belt assembly that ensures proper lap belt and shoulder belt restraint even when an occupant substantially reclines his or her seat. A primary shoulder belt that runs from a buckle member across the chest and shoulder of the occupant and engages a routing device and/or retraction/tensioning device coupled to a pillar, such as a B-pillar, of the body of the vehicle is coupled with a substantially coincident secondary shoulder belt that also runs from the buckle member across the chest and (same) shoulder of the occupant and engages a secondary routing device and/or secondary retraction/tensioning device coupled to a top portion of the seat back, adjacent to the heat rest of the seat and head of the occupant, on the same side of the seat as an anchor point associated with the lap belt.

摘要: A seat belt energy management loop system is disclosed. The seat belt energy management loop system reduces off-axis loading on a retractor for a seat belt during side loading of a vehicle. The seat belt energy management loop system includes a triangularly shaped wire loop, a first spacer attached to a first end of the wire loop and a second spacer attached to the second end of the wire loop. A fastener passes through the first and second spacers to attach the wire loop to a vehicle and relative to the seat belt retractor.

摘要: At a lift-up buckle device, due to a motor being driven and an output shaft of the motor being rotated, a drive screw is rotated. Further, a supporting tube rotatably supports a rear end portion of the drive screw. Here, the output shaft rotatably supports a front end portion of the drive screw. Therefore, offset between a rotation central axis of the output shaft and a rotation central axis of the drive screw can be suppressed.

摘要: A vehicle seat that can include a seat cushion and a concealing lid. The seat cushion can include a lower foam portion, an upper foam portion, and a buckle hole that extends through each of the lower foam portion and the upper foam portion. The concealing lid can be movably connected to the seat cushion to selectively close and open at least a portion of the buckle hole. The concealing lid can span at least a portion of the buckle hole when the concealing lid is in the closed position. The concealing lid can include an end portion that extends into a gap between the upper foam portion and the lower foam portion when the concealing lid is in the closed position. The end portion of the concealing lid can be spaced away from lower foam portion when the concealing lid is in the opened position.

摘要: A seatbelt airbag for a vehicle is provided. The airbag is inflated in a seatbelt to restrain an occupant to reduce an injury to the occupant caused by the seatbelt. Particularly, since the airbag is locally inflated at occupant's shoulder and hip which are susceptible to injury by the seatbelt, an inflation speed is controlled, an impact is minimized, and the occupant may be restrained in the seat more rapidly and stably.
