    摘要: The present invention relates to bulkheads and brackets for use a part of a bulkhead. The bulkhead includes an upstanding portion including a bracket-mounting end, a mitering portion including a bracket-engaging end, and a bracket including a seat cavity adapted to receive the bracket-engaging end of the mitering portion. The bracket is configured to orient the mitering portion at an acute angle with respect to the upstanding portion with the bracket-engaging end of the mitering portion adjacent the bracket-mounting end of the upstanding portion. Methods are also provided that comprise the steps of arranging a plurality of upstanding portions to define a casting area, pouring uncured precast material into the casting area, and curing the precast material to provide a panel with a mitered corner. In accordance with 37 CFR 1.72(b), the purpose of this abstract is to enable the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally to determine quickly, from a cursory inspection, the nature and gist of the technical disclosure. An expendable blister pack can be provided to fit on the outside of the casing to facilitate removal of the magnetic assembly from the cast member.

    摘要: A reinforced box-like structure for forming a void area in a concrete formation. The structure includes a bottom panel having a plurality of spaced apart, parallel base partitions and a top panel having a plurality of spaced apart, parallel top partitions. The base partitions extend across the bottom panel and in a direction normal to the bottom panel, and the top partitions extend across the top panel and in a direction normal to the top panel. Each of the base partitions and top partitions include a plurality of double-thickness walls with a plurality of slots therein and flat top edges between the slots. The structure is assembled by superimposing the top panel over the bottom panel such that the base partitions extend transversely relative to the top partitions. Thus, the slots in the base partitions register in interlocking relationship with the corresponding slots in the top partitions, wherein the base partitions extend substantially to the top panel and the top partitions extend substantially to the bottom panel to create a cellular box-like structure that generally fills a space between the bottom panel and top panel with the flat top edges engaging the respective top or bottom partition.

    摘要: A circuit is produced by using a formed mandrel (10,12) and semi-additive techniques for creating circuit traces. A stainless steel mandrel (10) flash plated with copper (14) includes a depression (12) which will form a raised interconnection feature (24). Using a photolithographically formed pattern of photoresistive material (16) on the mandrel the selected pattern of circuit traces (18,20) and raised features (24) are electroplated onto the flash plated mandrel. After stripping the photoresist (16), a dielectric substrate (26) is laminated to the circuit traces, effectively encapsulating the traces on three sides. After removing the laminated circuit traces and dielectric from the mandrel the flash plated copper (14) is removed and the circuit covered with an insulation coverlay.

    摘要: Disclosed is a device for forming apertures in cement or similar hardenable, plastic materials. The device, intended for use where holes of several inches in length are desired, comprises a body portion having affixed therein a threaded nut or coil. The body portion may be, for example, cylindrical in shape and be a solid elastomeric material having an aperture which extends axially through the body portion and communicates with a nut. The nut should be located adjacent the topmost portion of the body portion. A threaded rod may be inserted in the body aperture and screwed into the nut. A U-shaped bracket is provided which is placed on the hardened cement with the legs of the U-shape disposed on either side of body member. The joining member (which completes the U-shape) is spaced above and from the body portion by the legs. The joining member has a slot for receiving the bolt. The device is removed by threading a nut on the bolt down upon the joining member of the bracket. As the nut is turned, the rod is lifted. The lifting of the rod exerts pressure on the nut within the body member which then resiliently elongates the body portion and removes it from the cement.

An elongated bar of insulating material having a pair of longitudinally extending sides is fitted between each groove of each profile and the corresponding groove of the other profile. This forms a longitudinally extending passage defined on two opposite sides by the two insulating bars and on the other two sides by the two profiles. A tool is disposed through this passage so as plastically and permanently to deform the inner flanges outwardly and into intimate tight contact with the bars.

    摘要: Molding apparatus for molding articles without a seam or parting line even though the articles may have severe backdraft portions. The apparatus includes a flexible mold of relatively thick and self-supporting wall construction which is deformable by the application of fluid pressure differential to thereby release the finished article from the mold. One modification of the mold also has a thick radially extending flange which forms a seal with a vacuum pot when the mold is simply set in the pot. One modification is directed to a male and female type mold in which the outer female mold is expanded to be withdrawn from the article and the inner mold portion collapses inwardly so as to be withdrawn from the article. Another modification relates to a mold having inner portions which define an aperture or opening in the article to be molded, and which inner portions are separable from one another when the mold is expanded to thereby withdraw the inner portions from the aperture in the article and permit withdrawal of the mold.
