摘要: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods are provided. In an example, a method includes tuning a sensor comprising a first resonator having an effective gain, a second resonator having an effective loss, and a coupling circuit connected between the first resonator and the second resonator at an extrema degeneracy point with a nonlinear response to a force applied to the sensor. At least one of the first resonator, the second resonator, or the coupling circuit comprises a variable capacitor having a capacitance that varies as a function of the force. The method comprises injecting an input signal into one of the first resonator or the second resonator, receiving an output signal from one of the first resonator or the second resonator, and determining a magnitude of a force based on a difference between a first frequency extrema point and a second frequency extrema point in the output signal.

摘要: A capacitive multipath force sensor module includes a movable actuator, first and second stationary capacitor plates, and a central capacitor plate connected to the actuator and positioned between the stationary plates. The central plate moves by a same amount toward one stationary plate and away from the other stationary plate when the actuator is moved. In multiple successive cycles, while the first stationary plate is held at ground, (i) the central plate and the second stationary plate are connected to a voltage and (ii) are then disconnected from the voltage with the central plate being connected to a capacitor having a known capacitance value to thereby enable a charge quantity stored on the central plate to be transferred to the capacitor. After a predefined number of cycles, a voltage of the capacitor, which is indicative of an amount of movement of the actuator, is measured.

摘要: A flexible inductive pressure sensor, system, and method include an inductor configured to deform in multiple dimensions while maintaining inductive properties. A conductor is spaced apart from the inductor by a spacer positioned between the inductor and the conductor. The inductor has an inductance that varies based on an instantaneous distance between the inductor and the conductor. A capacitor is electrically coupled to the inductor and having a capacitance, wherein the inductor and the capacitor form a resonant circuit based on the inductance of the inductor and the capacitance of the capacitor. The resonant circuit is configured to, upon an input electrical signal applied to the flexible inductive pressure sensor, vary a voltage amplitude of an output signal based on the force applied to one or both of the inductor and the conductor and a resultant change in the impedance of the inductor.

摘要: A method of distinguishing between a first-type touch event and a second-type touch event is disclosed. A force-measuring and touch-sensing system includes piezoelectric force-measuring elements (PFEs) and piezoelectric ultrasonic transducers (PUTs), wherein each PUT can be configured as a transmitter (PUT transmitter) and/or a receiver (PUT receiver). The force-measuring and touch-sensing system is configured at a sense region. Each PUT transmitter transmits ultrasound signals towards the sense region and voltage signals are generated at the PUT receivers in response to ultrasound signals arriving from the sense region. Voltage signals are generated at PFEs in response to a low-frequency mechanical deformation of the respective piezoelectric capacitors. An event is determined to be a first-type touch event or a second-type touch event depending on a PUT data decrease and a magnitude of PFE data.
