摘要： Disclosed herein is a device for rigidly coupling a handle to its corresponding manual instrument, and an instrument provided with the said device, comprising: a first element that can be connected to a handle, or else be made in one piece therewith, and has a terminal stem, the diameter of which is less, provided with projections whose surfaces, turned towards a shoulder defined by it with respect to the body of the first element, slope both with respect to the axis of the first element and to a plane perpendicular to the said axis; a second element provided internally with an axial hole, which allows the passage of the first element, and a number of projections equal in number or a multiple of those of the said stem, with lower surfaces shaped to accept flush therewith the sloping surfaces of the projections with which the said stem is provided.The coupling is ensured by a ring nut that can be screwed to the first element and be carried flush up against the upper surface of the body of the instrument to which the second element is fastened, and by a locator member positioned at the side of at least one of the projections on the second element.

摘要： A quick release mechanism includes a male member including a locking pin, a female member including a cavity for receiving the male member, a locking joint on the female member including a longitudinal bore for receiving the male member, a longitudinal slit for receiving the locking pin, and a locking recess for capturing the locking pin, a spring within the cavity for securing the locking pin within the locking recess, and a bearing enabling rotation of the male member within the cavity. The male member engages the female member by guiding the locking pin into the slit and compressing the spring until the locking pin is released from the slit into the cavity. The locking pin is then able to shift into the locking recess by rotating the male member. The spring exerts a force onto the male member to maintain the locking pin within the locking recess.

摘要： Certain embodiments of the present disclosure describe a pole and base assembly. The pole and base assembly includes a pole with an upper engagement portion and a lower engagement portion that are biased toward each other. A base includes a socket to receive the pole and a channel that allows the lower engagement portion to pass through the base. The upper engagement portion is retained on the top surface of the base. When the lower engagement portion is passed through the socket and aligned with a locking portion, the biasing force causes the upper and lower engagement portions to clamp together around the base and lock the pole to the base.

The coupler first end is adapted to operatively combine with the output drive shaft of an engine suitable for rotating an auger. Each coupler has a different size and/or geometry at their respective first ends to allow each coupler to combine with a drive shaft having the corresponding size and geometry. The coupler second end is adapted to combine with the collar thereby allowing a single auger to be used with multiple drive shafts, each having a different size and/or geometry.

摘要： A paintbrush holder assembly affixes a standard paintbrush to a holder that in turn engages an extension rod. The holder includes a hollow tubular shaft with a circular cross section that includes a first end, a middle portion and a second end. Three or more semi-circular fasteners attach to the middle portion of the tubular shaft via flex points. One fastener includes a lock pin to engage a locking shaft. The locking shaft has an “L” shaped lock track having a sufficient size and dimension to fit about the tubular shaft and capable of sliding from the second end to a point proximate the first end. The extension rod connects to the holder via male threads which secure to female threads located at the second end of the tubular shaft.
