摘要: A waterproof, water vapor permeable shoe having a waterproof, water vapor permeable functional layer, an upper, and a lining. The functional layer may be made from a dispersion of a waterproof, water vapor polymer. The functional layer may only be attached to the lining at the top opening of the shoe. A method of making a waterproof, water vapor permeable shoe by forming a waterproof, water vapor permeable functional layer from a dispersion of a waterproof, water vapor permeable polymer and then attaching the functional layer to the lining of the top opening of the shoe.

摘要: Waterproof, water vapor permeable shoe construction including an exterior upper, a waterproof, water vapor permeable functional-layer upper, a lining upper, and a sole, characterized in that both the waterproof, water vapor permeable functional-layer upper and the lining upper are in the shape of a sock and introduced separately into the shoe. The functional-layer upper and lining upper are preferably joined to the exterior upper only at a top opening of the shoe construction through which a foot is inserted. The functional-layer upper can be composed of individual pieces that are joined together via seams that are sealed, or it can be seamless. Method for manufacturing a waterproof, water vapor permeable shoe, characterized by the following steps: manufacturing the exterior upper, manufacturing a waterproof, water vapor permeable functional-layer upper in the shape of a sock, manufacturing a lining upper in the shape of a sock, inserting the functional-layer upper into the exterior upper, inserting the lining upper into the functional-layer upper, applying the sole from underneath.

摘要: Footwear is described that has an insole with an insole bottom; an upper which is constructed with an outer material and which has an end region on the sole side; and a waterproof upper functional layer, which lines at least partially the outer material on its inside and also has an end region on the sole side. The upper has a lasting margin area, in which the end region of the upper is adhered to the insole bottom by means of a lasting adhesive. An outsole is adhered to the lasting area bottom by means of an outsole adhesive. The lasting adhesive is a waterproof reactive hot melt adhesive.

摘要: A metatarsal protector for footwear consists of a body molded from resilient plastics material, thus facilitating walking and kneeling, the material being sufficiently flexible that it can be molded flat and bent to the required saddle shape when it is incorporated into the footwear close against the upper inner surface. The range of hardness required for the material is comparatively narrow, so that it is sufficiently flexible, but can still meet certification requirements, and as measured by a Durometer A test is between 35 and 50 Shore. The protector comprises a plurality of integral ridged projections protruding from one surface, forming between themselves a corresponding plurality of open-mouthed recesses, each of which is surrounded by a single projection (e.g. giving a circular recess) or by a plurality thereof intersecting one another (e.g. giving rectangular or triangular recesses). When an impact force is applied to the metatarsal region the resilient material deforms and absorbs the force. The projections may be more closely spaced at and around the usual impact point. Preferably, the body is provided on the opposite surface with second projections, each of which registers with a respective recess at the first surface, and is the same shape and size, or slightly smaller, so that on deformation the second projections to enter their respective recesses, increasing the impact absorption. It has been found unexpectedly that even with such soft material the resultant boots can meet the highest Mt75 impact classification.

摘要: A slipper and a method of manufacturing a slipper is described where the slipper includes an outsole having a sidewall extending along a perimeter of the outsole. The outsole also includes a supporting sole structure including a platform surface. The supporting sole may include lattice walls defining open cells. The slipper also includes an insole and a vamp. The insole covers the platform of the outsole and fits within the sidewall. The method of manufacture includes the steps of providing the outsole, providing the vamp, and attaching a lower perimeter of the vamp to at least a portion of the sidewall extending along a perimeter of the outsole.

摘要: A method for utilizing a laser to etch a stratified material is disclosed. The method includes providing a stratified material having at least two layers that are secured together, the layers including a first layer and a second layer. An incision is then formed in the stratified material with a laser, the incision extending through the first layer to expose the second layer. The stratified material may then be incorporated into an upper of the article of footwear, for example. By exposing portions of the second layer, properties of the second layer may be exposed in the area of the removed first layer.

摘要: The present invention provides insoles for shoes in which the insoles each have an insole body with the surface thereof made of paper or nonwoven cloth, and onto the surface of this insole body is adhered a transparent or semitransparent synthetic resin sheet carrying designs such as pictures and characters on a rear surface thereof. With this configuration, the insoles become much more fashionable as compared to the conventional ones, are not mistaken for other's shoes even at a place where there are a number of pairs of shoes of the same type, allow a user to find his or her own pair of shoes at a glance, and give him or her the pleasure when wearing the same.

摘要: Footwear including an insole formed for relieving pressure on a common digital nerve of a foot. The insole has heel, mid and forefoot sections. The forefoot section of the insole is formed with a pad having a neuroma pad section which underlies the third and fourth metatarsal heads of the foot, so that when a bottom of the foot is placed on the insole, the neuroma pad section applies an upward force to the bottom of the foot sufficient to spread the third and fourth metatarsal heads away from one another and thereby relieve pressure on the third common digital nerve to reduce the risk of neuroma. In other embodiments, the pad is formed as a separate pad for placement in footwear. An insole designed for use with thonged footwear is also disclosed.
