    摘要: A control device for a gearbox which includes a mechanical pump and an electric pump, the control device including a sensor module configured to detect a system oil pressure of a lubricating oil of the gearbox, a differential, a clutch, a brake, and a control module. The differential includes an input bevel gear meshing with a bevel pinion of an output shaft of the gearbox, a differential housing connected to the input bevel gear, and a first half shaft and a second half shaft which are provided in the differential housing and mesh with a bevel pinion of the differential housing. The second half shaft is connected to an input of the mechanical pump. The brake includes a brake caliper, a brake disc, and a brake disc shaft fixedly connected to the brake disc. The brake disc shaft is fixedly connected to the first half shaft.

    摘要: An axle assembly includes a first and a second electric motor which drive a gearbox assembly substantially therebetween. The electric motors drive the gearbox assembly which drives the vehicle wheels through a first and second axle shaft located along a first axis. The electric motors are located along axes which are substantially transverse to the first axis. The electric motors drive the gearbox assembly which includes a first stage gear reduction, a second stage gear reduction and a third stage gear reduction. A relatively lightweight and compact axle assembly is thereby provided which will benefit from an electric motor of reduced size.

    摘要: A gearbox assembly includes a housing which contains a differential gear set and a two-speed reduction gear set. A spider drives differential pinion gears nested between outer pinion gears. A first and a second clutch that can be engaged “on the fly” achieve the two-speed functionality of the gearbox assembly. Another gearbox assembly includes an on-demand locking differential with a differential clutch located between differential axle side gears to selectively lock the differential axle side gears together and thereby lock the axle shafts.

    摘要: A variable transmission is disclosed. An input shaft for rotational input has a first gear securably mounted at the terminal end of the input. A cross shaft is spaced apart from the terminal end of the input shaft and a second gear is securely mounted at the second end of the cross shaft with the second gear in direct mechanical communication with the first gear. A fifth gear with a hub is rotatably mounted on the input shaft. A third gear is securably mounted at the first end of the cross shaft with the third gear being in direct mechanical communication with the fifth gear. An output shaft terminates in a fourth gear with the fourth gear positioned opposite the fifth gear and in direct mechanical communication with the third gear. The first end and the second end of the cross shaft are secured to enable rotation of the cross shaft about the first axis of the cross shaft and to further enable rotation of the cross shaft about a second axis of the cross shaft with the second axis being perpendicular relative to the first axis. A brake controls the rotation of the hub of the fifth gear to initiate and vary the rotation of the output shaft by manipulating the brake. An interlocking control directly combines the rotation of the input shaft with the hub.

    摘要: The gear train speed changing transmission for transmitting rotation from an input member to an output member comprises planet gears carried at the distal end portion of the input member for planetary rotation and connected together for conjoined rotation about their respective axes, at least one of the planet gears being in mesh with a reaction gear and at least one planet gear being in mesh with a gear carried by the output member. The transmission also includes a coil spring brake means disposed to coact with the reaction gear to selectively prevent or permit rotation of the gear.In a more limited aspect of the invention the transmission has two or more gear trains interconnecting the input member with the output member and wherein each train includes a reaction gear and a brake means for selecting which gear train rotary transmission is to be effected.
