摘要： A Chess game has eight similar conventional 64 square chess boards. The boards can be stacked vertically, one above the other or can be laid out flat, one adjacent to the other. One set of chessmen is initially arranged in normal fashion on one side of the topmost board while the other set of chessman is arranged in normal fashion on the lowermost board on the side thereof opposite to that one which the first set is arranged. A second row of pawns is provided for each set, one of which is arranged in the first row of the board directly below the topmost board and the other of which is arranged in the first row of the board directly above the lowermost board. The pieces are moved as in a regular game of chess except that moves can be made both vertically and horizontally with the proviso that a piece cannot be moved both fore or aft and up or down in the same move.

摘要： A game including a cubical main element 2 having a plurality of spaced vertical bores 4 extending therethrough. A removable receiving tray 10 is positioned beneath the bores during play such that the playing pieces 9 which are placed in the bores 4 can fall within receiving cups 12 within the tray 10. A selectively movable slide piece 16 is resiliently mounted beneath the receiving tray 10 and the main element 2 such that it effectively prevents game pieces from passing into the tray until deliberately actuated, such that a single layer of game pieces 9 may be dropped into the tray 10 each time the slide 16 is moved. The players slice off individual sequential layers of playing pieces enabling the scoring to be on a two-dimensional basis.

Each board includes a group of indicated areas adapted to receive the playing pieces. Each group of indicated areas extending about the periphery of the respective boards constitute portions of a path or course. A number of indicated areas on each path portion are designated so as to constitute a distinguishable group to enable the playing pieces landing on designated areas of the path portions of one board to move to designated areas of the path portions of the other board. During play, the second game board is rotatable with respect to the first game board in order to constantly change the angular relationship of the second game board with respect to the first game board. In this manner, the routes taken between board levels are constantly changing.

Support posts extending up from the base support two vertically spaced platforms with each platform having 27 recesses vertically aligned with the 27 recesses on the base.

The game pieces are divided into a plurality of groups of similar number, each of the groups being a different color. Each game piece comprises a flat disc having a stem which extends transversely to one of the flat surfaces of the disc at the center thereof. The apparatus also includes a support member which is a rectangular, hollow, transparent member having five rectangular playing surfaces, four of which are disposed vertically and depend from the four edges of the periphery of the fifth of the surfaces which is horizontally disposed. Each of the surfaces includes a plurality of squares which are disposed in aligned rows and columns. The rows of each of the four vertically disposed surfaces are aligned with the rows of the other vertical surfaces. The columns of each of the four vertical surfaces are aligned with the rows and columns of the horizontal surface. Each of the squares has an opening at the center thereof so that any one of the discs may be removably secured to the square by insertion of the stem of the disc in the opening. The support member has a bore formed in its sixth surface, said bore rotatably receiving a projection carried by a base member.
