    摘要: A closed loop shift control apparatus and method based on estimated torque in friction elements controls a torque transfer phase when shifting from a low gear configuration to a high gear configuration for an automatic transmission system. When pressure actuated friction elements are selectively engaged and released to establish torque flow paths in the transmission, estimates of torsional load exerted on the off-going friction element are used to predict the optimal off-going friction element release timing for achieving a consistent shift feel. The estimated torque is preferably calculated by using estimated torque signals generated as a function of speed measurements represented either the engine speed and turbine output speed or transmission output speed and wheel speed under dynamically changing conditions.

    摘要: An induction heater having a safety function of lowering or stopping the heating power when an object to be heated moves, the safety function hardly interfering with the cooking activities of a user is provided. The induction heater includes an inverter circuit, an output detection section for detecting the magnitude of the inverter circuit, a first movement detection section, and a storage section for storing a control value before the first movement detection section detects a movement of the object. In a reach control mode, the output of the inverter circuit is gradually increased to a target. In a stable control mode, the output of the inverter circuit is maintained at the target. When the first movement detection section detects a movement of the object, a control section shifts to a first output mode in which a control value derived from the stored control value is output.

    摘要: A method for controlling ratio changes in a swap-shift transmission having a first simple planetary gear unit and a second compound planetary gear unit, the two gear units being arranged in series disposition, pressure-operated friction elements for separately braking the reaction member at each of the gear units to establish a change in ratio. The change in ratio consists of a downshift by releasing a reaction friction element for the first gear unit and upshifting the second gear unit by applying a second friction element to anchor a reaction member of the second gear unit in a non-synchronous fashion to achieve a consistent shift quality without precise matching of friction element application and release whereby inertia torque disturbances in the torque output elements of the transmission are avoided.
