    Abstract: A blue phase liquid crystal display panel and a liquid crystal display device are disclosed, including a first and a second substrates disposed at an interval and parallel. Blue phase liquid crystal is disposed between the first and second substrates. The first substrate includes a first base. The second substrate includes a second base. The blue phase liquid crystal display panel includes a transmissive display region having multiple first base platforms, multiple first electrodes, each of which is disposed on each of the first base platform, and second electrodes disposed on the first base and the second base. A reflective display region has fourth electrodes only disposed on the second base. The first substrate is provided with a reflective layer corresponding to the reflective display region. When light passes through the transmissive display region and the reflective display region, phase delays of the light in the two regions are identical.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a backlight system of a liquid crystal display device. A light guide plate is provided on a frame. A quantum dot diaphragm is arranged above or below the light guide plate. An optical diaphragm set is arranged above the light guide plate or the quantum dot diaphragm. When the quantum dot diaphragm is cut, left and right sides or/and upper and lower sides thereof are left with margins which are processed into bending portions while the backlight system is manufactured. Useless areas are located on the margins. The margins are bent, and are configured to encase the light guide plate or the optical diaphragm set.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a blue phase liquid crystal display module, wherein the blue phase liquid crystal display module including: an upper substrate, a lower substrate and a blue phase liquid crystal; a plurality of the upper jagged electrodes formed on the upper substrate; a lower substrate is formed opposite to the upper substrate, a plurality of the lower jagged electrodes formed staggered with the upper jagged electrodes on the lower substrate; a reflection layer is formed on the lower substrate alternately to divide the blue phase liquid crystal display module into a transmission zone and a reflective zone. The invention achieves the property of different phase delay of the transmission zone to the reflective zone by adjusting the interval or dip angle of the electrode.

    Abstract: A transmission-reflection blue phase liquid crystal panel is disclosed. The transmission-reflection blue phase liquid crystal panel comprises an upper substrate and a lower substrate that are arranged facing each other, and blue phase liquid crystal that is arranged between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. The upper substrate, on a surface thereof facing the blue phase liquid crystal, is provided with a first electrode base layer which has a plurality of first protrusions, and the lower substrate, on a surface thereof facing the blue phase liquid crystal, is provided with a second electrode base layer which has a plurality of second protrusions. The first protrusions each extend to a position between two adjacent second protrusions, and the second protrusions each extend to a position between two adjacent first protrusions. According to the present disclosure, a consistent photoelectric property in the transmission region and the reflection region can be obtained and the driving voltage of the blue phase liquid crystal can be reduced.

    Abstract: A foldable liquid crystal display device and a method for manufacturing the foldable liquid crystal display device are provided. The foldable liquid crystal display device includes displaying sections, each of which includes a pair of rigid substrates. The displaying sections are connected together with flexible substrates. Folding sections are provided between the displaying sections so that the flexible substrates are foldable along the folding sections to have the displaying sections stacked on each other. Thus, expanding the displaying sections allows for expansion of a displaying area of the liquid crystal display device and folding the displaying sections allows for reduction of a space occupied by the liquid crystal display device to facilitate carrying. By adopting different display modes for different ones of the displaying sections, application scenarios of the liquid crystal display device can be made versatile.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a foldable liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method thereof. The foldable liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of displaying sections, and each of the displaying sections includes a pair of rigid substrates, wherein the displaying sections are connected together with flexible substrates and folding sections are provided between the displaying sections so that the flexible substrates are foldable along the folding sections to have the displaying sections of the liquid crystal display device stacked on each other, whereby expanding the plurality of displaying sections allows for expansion of a displaying area of the liquid crystal display device and folding the plurality of displaying sections allows for reduction of space occupied by the liquid crystal display device to facilitate carrying. By using monolithic manufacturing method, the invention achieves reducing the number of control circuit and cost.
