Abstract: Exemplary embodiments include a method, performed by a session management function (V-SMF) of a visited public land mobile network (VPLMN), for establishing a user-requested PDU session to be routed through the user's home PLMN (HPLMN). Such embodiments include receiving, from an access management function (AMF) in the HPLMN, a first request to establish a home-routed PDU session, wherein the first request identifies an SMF (H-SMF) in the HPLMN. Such embodiments also include sending, to the H-SMF, a second request to create the home-routed PDU session. The second request can include an identifier of a resource in the V-SMF associated with the PDU session; and one or more indicators of whether the V-SMF supports respective one or more features related to receiving, from the H-SMF, an identifier of a resource in the H-SMF that is associated with the PDU session. Embodiments also include complementary methods performed by the H-SMF.

Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a Control Plane (CP) function for handling a credit pool comprising granted service units to be used by multiple services. The multiple services are grouped in at least one first Rating Group (RG). The CP function creates an individual Usage Reporting Rule (URR) for each of the at least one first RG. Each individual URR comprises a first credit pool threshold. The CP function provides the individual URRs to a User Plane (UP) function. The CP function creates a Usage Reporting Rule for the Credit Pool (URR CRPL). The URR CRPL comprises instructions to the UP function to aggregate service unit usage for all individual URRs for all first RGs. The URR CRPL further comprises the first credit pool threshold. The CP function provides the URR CRPL to the UP function.

The UE (101) is currently unreachable by the first mobility management node (108a). The first mobility management node (108a) receives, from a subscriber database (128), updated subscriber data associated with the UE (101). At least part of the updated subscriber data is modified. The first mobility management node (108a) determines that transmission of the updated subscriber data to a gateway node (110) should be postponed until the UE (101) has become reachable.
