Abstract:
Provided is a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system supporting a Circuit Switched FallBack (CSFB) service. The UE includes a transceiver for transmitting and receiving a signal to/from a first or second communication system that uses a different frequency; a receiver for receiving a signal from the second communication system; and a controller for controlling an operation of receiving signaling information for the CSFB service from the first communication system through the transceiver, and simultaneously measuring channel status of the second communication system using the signal received from the receiver.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for controlling traffic of a Radio Access Network (RAN) in a wireless communication system. The method includes acquiring at least one of subscription class information of a User Equipment (UE) user and type information of an application or content; determining whether a congestion situation has occurred in the RAN; and controlling traffic for the UE based on the acquired information, if the congestion situation has occurred in the RAN.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for paging a User Equipment (UE) in an idle state by a Mobility Management Entity (MME) in a wireless communication network in which a Packet Switched (PS) domain and a Circuit Switched (CS) domain coexist. The method includes receiving a CS page message for paging the UE in a CS domain; and upon receiving the CS page message, sending a PS page message for paging the UE in a PS domain, the PS page message including a priority indicator, to an Evolved Node B (ENB) where the UE is located.
Abstract:
The present invention is a method for controlling re-direction between heterogeneous mobile communication systems, comprising a step in which a terminal, a connection request of which is rejected from a first communication system (UTRAN), receives, from a second communication system to which the terminal intends to connect, information indicating that the second communication system does not support the terminal; a step of setting information for preventing re-direction to the second communication system; and a step of transmitting, to the first communication system, a request for connection to the first communication system, which includes the information.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a session keep-alive by a user equipment in a mobile communication system, comprising the steps of: setting request information of a session lifetime for a new application and transmitting the set request information to a network if the new application starts; and acquiring the session lifetime from the network and adjusting a message transmission period of the user equipment to keep-alive the session by using the session lifetime.

Abstract:
A method for a Mobility Management Entity (MME) to control a connection of a User Equipment (UE) in a mobile communication system is provided. The method includes a first standby method including an MME in a wireless communication system that includes predicting an overload durating time when an overload duration time that is predicted, transmitting to an enhanced Node B (eNodeB) information on the reconnection method of the UE that is decided, wherein the plurality of reconnection methods represent methods for the UE attempting reconnection with the MME after a second standby time that is longer than the first standby time, and an MME reselection method for the UE attempting the reconnection with an MME which is different from the MME.
