    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for hybrid modulation and demodulation, which may include multiplexing and demultiplexing different waveform types. An example method includes receiving a time-domain waveform from a transmitting entity and converting the time-domain waveform to a frequency domain. The method also includes identifying a first set of time and frequency resources associated with converted first information and a second set of time and frequency resources associated with second information in time and frequency resources of an orthogonal frequency domain multiplexing (OFDM) resource grid in a time-frequency domain. The method further includes decoding the first set of time and frequency resources to generate first information from the converted first information. For certain aspects, the first information may be precoded with an orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) modulation.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus to use different GI sequences for different FDM UEs. The apparatus calculates a GI of each UE from a set of UEs based at least on a delay spread associated with each UE from the set of UEs. The apparatus multiplexes data and the GI of each respective UE from the set of UEs to generate a waveform. The apparatus transmits the waveform to the set of UEs. The apparatus may receive, from each UE from the set of UEs, the delay spread associated with each UE from the set of UEs. The apparatus may multiplex the GI of each respective UE from the set of UEs prior to performing a DFT operation on the GI and the data. The apparatus may multiplex the GI of each respective UE from the set of UEs after performing an IDFT operation to generate the waveform.

    Abstract: A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a slot parameter that configures the UE to receive a number of symbols within a self-contained slot. The method also includes receiving, from the base station, a cyclic prefix (CP) parameter associated with a single symbol of the number of symbols, the CP parameter indicating a source of samples for a CP included at a beginning of the single symbol. The method further includes receiving, from the base station, the number of symbols within the self-contained slot. In some examples, a guard interval (GI) may be included at one or both of an end or a beginning of each symbol of the number of symbols. The CP may be outside a single FFT window of a number of FFT windows, associated with the single symbol of the number of symbols.

    Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a user equipment (UE). The apparatus may receive, from a base station via a DCI message, an indication of at least one K1 value corresponding to a plurality of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions over a plurality of PDSCH resources. The DCI message may comprise scheduling information for the plurality of PDSCH transmissions. The at least one K1 value may be associated with at least one physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource and indicative of a PDSCH-to-hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) timing. The apparatus may transmit, to the base station via the at least one PUCCH resource, at least one acknowledgment/negative-acknowledgment (ACK/NACK) indication associated with the at least one K1 value and corresponding to the plurality of PDSCH resources.
