    Abstract: In an example, a method of wireless communication of a base station may include assigning, by the base station, one or more resources to a group comprising a plurality of UEs that includes a first UE. The method may include receiving, by the base station from the first UE, a message on the one or more assigned resources. The message may include a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled with a group identifier for the group comprising the plurality of UEs. The message may include an indication of a UE identifier for the first UE within the group. The message may include a DMRS, where the indication of the UE identifier is represented by a sequence of the DMRS.

    Abstract: NPRACH suffers from false alarms in which a base station detects and cannot distinguish an NPRACH signal that is intended for a different base station. An NPRACH may include a cell specific frequency shift pattern over repetitions and/or a repetition level scrambling sequence that enables a base station to more accurately detect NPRACH. An apparatus generates an NPRACH signal comprising multiple repetitions, wherein each repetition comprises multiple symbol groups. The apparatus may apply a different frequency shift between repetitions of the NPRACH signal. The frequency shift may comprise a cell specific random frequency shift pattern applied over each repetition. The apparatus may apply a repetition level scrambling sequence to the NPRACH signal, wherein a single scrambling sequence is applied to a set of repetitions comprised in the NPRACH signal. The apparatus transmits the NPRACH to a serving cell.

A user equipment (UE) may identify that the UE is in communication with a first slice of a network via a first control entity at the UE, and may determine that the UE is to further communicate with a second slice of the network.     Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for improved sidelink discovery communication. An example method performed by a user equipment (UE) generally includes deciding, when a conflict occurs between a sidelink discovery message and at least one other transmission in a transmission period, whether to transmit the sidelink discovery message or the at least one other transmission based, at least in part, on a priority of the sidelink discovery message; and transmitting the sidelink discovery message or the at least one other transmission in the transmission period, in accordance with the decision. Another example method by a UE generally includes signaling a capability of the UE to simultaneously receive, during a reception period, on a downlink and a sidelink; and receiving on the downlink while also receiving on the sidelink, in accordance with the capability.
