Abstract: Various aspects are directed to providing an output/state based upon an input value. Consistent with one or more embodiments, an apparatus includes a bias circuit that is connected between power and common rails and includes first and second current paths that provide first and second reference currents. A current-mirroring circuit provides a first mirrored current in response to a voltage input transitioning in a first direction between voltage levels, and a second mirrored current in response to a voltage input transitioning in an opposite direction. A logic circuit operates in a first state based upon the first mirrored current and the first reference current, and operates in a second state based upon the second mirrored current and the second reference current.

Abstract: A Controller Area Network (CAN) transceiver determines a voltage differential signal from analog signaling and provides a digital output signal at a receiver output to a CAN controller based on the voltage differential signal. The analog signaling received from the CAN bus can operate with a first voltage level scheme of a first CAN protocol and a second voltage level scheme for a second CAN protocol. A first comparator compares the voltage differential signal to a first threshold which is set to a value which differentiates between a logic low bit and logic high bit in accordance with the second CAN protocol. Filtering circuitry selectively filters an output of the first comparator based on detection of noise on the CAN bus to provide a first digital signal indicative of activity on the CAN bus according to the second CAN protocol.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a controller and a transceiver and associated software and methods. A controller for communicating with a transceiver in a network node having a first mode of operation and a second mode of operation, the controller comprising: a first-data-terminal for communicating with the transceiver; and a second-data-terminal for communicating with the transceiver, in which the controller is configured to: in the second mode, determine receive-data based on a first-data-signal at the first-data-terminal and a second-data-signal at the second-data-terminal; determine that a change of mode from the second mode to the first mode is required; and in response to determining that a change of mode from the second mode to the first mode is required, provide a controller-mode-signal that instructs the transceiver to operate in the first mode rather than the second mode, wherein the controller-mode-signal is provided by simultaneously driving a first current on the first-data-terminal and a second current on the second-data-terminal.

Abstract: The present application relates to a circuit and a transceiver comprising the circuit. The circuit comprises two bus line terminals for coupling to a bus and a bridge circuit comprising two legs. Each leg comprises an adjustable pull resistance and an adjustable push resistance connected in series with a respective one of the two bus line terminals. The adjustable pull resistances and the adjustable push resistances of the bridge circuit enable to independently adjust a driver impedance and to independently adjust a differential driver voltage on the bus. The circuit may further comprise an edge detector is coupled to a transmit data input and configured to detect a transition on the transmit data input and to adjust the impedances of the adjustable pull resistances and the adjustable push resistances in response to the detected transition.

The power supply has a control port that receives a control signal for activating and deactivating the internal power supply, and one or more output ports for providing a power signal.
