Abstract:
An apparatus including circuitry configured to: enable a conversational service between a first user of the apparatus and a second user of a remote apparatus wherein the conversational service is a duplex service including simultaneous voice communication from the first user to the second user and voice communication from the second user to the first user; and enable synchronization of a switch to using an active noise cancellation mode at the apparatus for the conversational service and at the remote apparatus for the conversational service, wherein the switch to using the noise cancellation mode is synchronized between the first and second users.
Abstract:
An apparatus configured to: receive spatial audio data comprising audio captured from a space extending around a capture device and directional information; receive video imagery captured by a camera, wherein the extent of the space from which the spatial audio data is captured is greater than the field of view of the camera; associate each audio sources determined from the directional information, with, for audio sources within the field of view, a region of the video imagery that corresponds to the direction towards the audio source, and, for audio sources outside the field of view, a part of an out-of-view graphic, the out-of-view graphic indicative of the spatial extent of the space outside the field of view; display the video imagery and the out-of-view graphic; receive user input; and provide for control of at least one audio capture property of a selected one of said one or more audio sources.
Abstract:
An apparatus, method and computer program is described comprising: providing a gallery or user interface comprising a plurality of images; identifying either a mirrored or non-mirrored state associated with at least one of the images; determining, based on at least one criterion, that at least part of the at least one image is to be modified from its associated mirrored or non-mirrored state to the opposite state; and based on the determination, performing the modification.
Abstract:
This specification describes an apparatus for controlling audio output. The apparatus provides first and a second audio components for output to first and second audio transducers of a wearable device, determine a proximity between the wearable device and a third audio transducer and determining a first or second state of the first and second audio transducers, and controlling output of at least one of the first and second audio components based on the determined proximity and the state of the first and second transducers. Responsive the proximity being under a threshold and the state of the first transducer being in a first state whilst the second transducer is in a second state, the apparatus causes output of the audio component associated with the second state transducer to be transferred to the third audio transducer whilst continuing to output the audio component associated with the first state transducer to said transducer.
Abstract:
An apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including a computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to: receive at least one audio signal; obtain, associated with the at least one audio signal over at least one frequency band: at least one spatial audio energy ratio parameter; and at least one remainder energy ratio, wherein a sum of the at least one spatial audio energy ratio parameter and the at least one remainder energy ratio over the frequency band equal a determined value; and control a transmission/storage of the at least one spatial audio energy ratio, and the at least one remainder energy ratio.
Abstract:
An approach is provided for substantially automatically determining that a user is associated with at least one product. A processing platform determines one or more media files, one or more content files, or a combination thereof, which are associated with the at least one product. Further, the processing platform associates the one or media files, one or more content files, or a combination thereof with descriptive information associated with the at least one product.
Abstract:
A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided in order to generate a visual indication to a user of a point of interest outside of the user's view. In the context of a method, identifying a point of interest outside of a user's view is identified during display of an image in a first orientation. The method also includes causing at least a portion of the image to be repositioned, such as by being tilted, to provide a visual indication to the user of a point of interest outside of the user's view. After repositioning at least the portion of the image, the method further includes causing at least the portion of the image to return to the first orientation.
Abstract:
An apparatus for providing access to a media item based at least in part on a route may include a processor. The processor may be configured to receive a start location of a mobile device. The processor may be further configured to receive a route. In this regard, the route may have been determined based at least in part on points of interest and the start location. The processor may be further configured to provide for access to a media item if a current location of the mobile device remains on the route. Associated methods and computer program products may also be provided.
Abstract:
An apparatus comprising: means for receiving a data structure for controlling rendering of a sound scene to a user of the apparatus, wherein the data structure specifies one or more positions for initial rendering a new sound object associated with a different user; means for selecting one of the one or more positions specified by the data structure, wherein the means for selecting one of the one or more positions specified by the data structure is configured to select a specified position in dependence upon at least a position of the user; and means for rendering the new sound object at the selected position.
Abstract:
Examples of the disclosure relate to enabling external control of noise control processing. In examples of the disclosure a location of a listener is determined. The listener is listening to audio content and the audio content is processed using noise control processing. An acoustic response at the location of the listener is determined and a control signal is provided. The control signal indicates an adjustment for one or more parameters of the noise control processing, and the adjustment is based, at least in part, on the acoustic response at the location of the listener.
