    Abstract: Provided are a method for transmitting a message by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication, and an apparatus supporting the same. The method may include: initiating early data transmission; receiving a random access response message including an uplink grant, from a base station (BS); based on the uplink grant, determining whether or not to transmit a first message related to the early data transmission to the BS, in response to the random access response message; and after determining to transmit the first message related to the early data transmission, resuming radio bearers for the early data transmission.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of transmitting a buffer status report (BSR) by an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method includes the steps of: generating the BSR; and transmitting the BSR to the network, wherein the BSR includes data volume of the IAB node determined by considering data volume of at least one RLC (Radio Link Control) layer entity of the IAB node and data volume of an adaptation layer of the IAB node.

    Abstract: A method of performing, by a user equipment (UE), wireless communication using a serving cell in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes: starting a deactivation timer associated with the serving cell, the deactivation timer relating to a duration of time after which the serving cell is deactivated; determining whether there is an uplink (UL) grant or a downlink (DL) assignment for the serving cell in a time unit; based on a determination that there is an UL grant or a DL assignment, determining whether a data unit is transmitted on the UL grant or is received on the DL assignment; based on a determination that the data unit is transmitted on the UL grant or is received on the DL assignment: restarting the deactivation timer associated with the serving cell; and transmitting the data unit on the UL grant or receiving the data unit on the DL assignment.

    Abstract: The present invention constructs L RLC PDUs, where L is larger than 1; and submit the L RLC PDUs to a medium access control (MAC) layer for a transmission opportunity. The L RLC PDUs include a first RLC PDU having a poll to trigger status reporting at a receiving device and a second RLC PDU not having the poll and having a highest sequence number (SN) among SNs of the L RLC PDUs. The present invention sets a state variable to a highest SN among SNs of RLC PDUs having the poll submitted to the MAC layer, upon submitting the first RLC PDU to the MAC layer.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to method and apparatus for backhaul status reporting in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a method performed by a wireless device in a wireless communication system comprises: receiving a detecting configuration and a report configuration, the report configuration comprising a reporting destination informing at least one wireless device among a plurality of wireless devices connected to the wireless device via a first backhaul for the wireless device; detecting a status of a second backhaul for the wireless device based on the detecting configuration; and transmitting the status of the second backhaul based on the report configuration, to the at least one wireless device informed by the reporting destination.
