Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for clock synchronization are provided. In one aspect, a clock synchronization method includes: receiving, by a terminal and from an access network device, information about N clock domains, determining, by the terminal, M clock domains that are associated with the terminal and that are in the N clock domains, and separately performing, by the terminal, clock synchronization with clock sources of the M clock domains based on information about the M clock domains. Information about a clock domain includes first time information and a clock domain number of the clock domain. The first time information includes a time of a clock source of the clock domain when the access network device sends the information about the clock domain. The clock domain number identifies the clock domain. N is an integer greater than 1, and M is an integer greater than 1.

Abstract: A service transmission method and apparatus are provided to establish a connection between an access and mobility management function network element and a secondary base station, when a master base station is not capable of continuing to provide a service for a terminal device. In an embodiment, an access and mobility management function network element determines that a master base station is not capable of continuing to provide a service for a terminal device. The access and mobility management function network element sends a mobility management context of the terminal device to a secondary base station, where the mobility management context is used by the secondary base station to perform mobility management on the terminal device. Therefore, a signaling connection between the access and mobility management function network element and the secondary base station can be quickly established, thereby ensuring service transmission and improving user experience.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a data transmission method, user equipment, and a control plane node. User equipment (UE) determines a security attribute of a session of the UE; the UE sends a session establishment request message to a control plane node when the security attribute of the session of the UE does not meet a security requirement of an application. The session establishment request message is used to request to establish a session corresponding to the security requirement of the application. Embodiments of the disclosed method reduce an unnecessary signaling exchange caused by establishment of a new session in a data transmission process to facilitate meeting requirements of different services.

Abstract: An IP address assignment method and an apparatus are provided, to resolve a problem in the prior art that a control plane network element cannot determine, in an IP address assignment process, a terminal device to which IP address information is to be assigned. Abstract: This application provides a satellite communication method and an apparatus. The method may include: A session management network element obtains an identifier list. The identifier list includes identification information of one or more terminal devices that access a satellite in a satellite backhaul manner. The session management network element configures a forwarding rule for a user plane network element on the satellite. The forwarding rule is used to offload, to an access network device corresponding to the terminal device, a data packet whose destination address is included in an address of the terminal device corresponding to the identifier list. Based on the foregoing solution, a terminal device that supports local switching in the satellite can perform communication through local switching in the satellite, so that a delay can be reduced and user experience can be improved.
