Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example communication method includes receiving indication information by a terminal device from a network device, where the indication information is used to indicate resource configuration information of a first uplink carrier and/or a second uplink carrier. The first uplink carrier and the second uplink carrier are different uplink carriers in a cell of the network device, and the first uplink carrier and the second uplink carrier are corresponding to one downlink carrier in the cell. The terminal device determines one uplink carrier from the at least one uplink carrier as a target carrier for performing random access based on the resource configuration information of the at least one uplink carrier.

Abstract: A transmission timing determining method and apparatus are provided, to determine a transmission timing of an IAB node. The method is applied to a first node, and a second node may be an upper-level node or a donor node of the first node. The method includes: The first node receives control information from the second node, where the control information includes scheduling information of uplink transmission, and the control information includes first scrambling information. The first node determines a first timing type associated with the first scrambling information. The first node determines a transmission timing of the uplink transmission based on the first timing type.

Abstract: This application provides a wireless communication method. The method includes: receiving first information, where the first information is for configuring a parameter of a first beam set, the first beam set includes at least one first beam, and the first beam is a beam shared by a plurality of channels and/or a plurality of reference signals; receiving second information, and determining information about a first beam subset based on the second information, where the first beam subset belongs to the first beam set; and receiving third information, and determining information about the first beam based on the third information, where the first beam belongs to the first beam subset, and the first beam is a common beam. In this application, beams of all channels/reference signals can be uniformly indicated by configuring, activating, and indicating a common beam. This simplifies implementation and reduces signaling overheads.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a beam-based communication method. The method includes: receiving configuration information of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) from a network device, wherein the PDCCH is corresponding to a control resource set 0 (CORESET0); receiving indication information from the network device, wherein the indication information indicates a first beam; where the configuration information of the PDCCH includes a first parameter, the first parameter indicates that the PDCCH uses the first beam; and receiving the PDCCH by using the first beam.

Abstract: This application discloses a resource multiplexing method and apparatus. In this application, a first node receives first configuration information sent by a second node, where the first configuration information includes first guard interval information associated with a first timing mode of an MT. The first node receives second configuration information sent by the second node, where the second configuration information includes second guard interval information associated with a second timing mode of the MT. Guard interval information configured by the second node is associated with different timing modes, so that the first node can obtain the guard interval information corresponding to the different timing modes, to improve flexibility of resource multiplexing performed on an access link and a backhaul link.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and an apparatus. The method includes: receiving configuration information from a first node or a third node, where the configuration information indicates time-frequency information of a SIB1 of a distributed unit DU of the first node; and determining, based on the obtained time-frequency information of the SIB1 of the DU of the first node, an unavailable resource of a mobile termination MT function of the first node, where the first node is an integrated access and backhaul IAB node, the second node is a parent node of the first node, and the third node is a donor node. The technical solution provided in this application can effectively avoid a resource conflict between the MT function and the DU of the IAB node.
