Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a synchronization signal block transmission method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: A network device sends an SSB to a terminal device in a resource position of the SSB. Correspondingly, the terminal device receives the SSB. In this process, a symbol included in the resource position of the SSB does not overlap with an uplink symbol in a plurality of self-contained slot structures as much as possible. This method can reduce a probability that the symbol included in the resource position of the SSB conflicts with an uplink symbol in as many self-contained slot structures as possible, to avoid cross interference, and therefore can support reliable transmission in as many self-contained slot structures as possible.

Abstract: A communications method includes: A first terminal side device determines a frequency domain resource of a scheduled first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), where the first PDSCH corresponds to a first demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) on a first antenna port; and when the frequency domain resource includes N consecutive frequency domain units, and there is a second DM-RS on a second antenna port in each of L consecutive frequency domain units in the N frequency domain units, determines, that precoding of the second DM-RS in each of the L frequency domain units is the same. The second DM-RS and the first DM-RS are in a same code division multiplexing CDM group, the second DM-RS corresponds to a second PDSCH scheduled for a second terminal side device, N is an integer greater than 1, and L is less than or equal to N, and is an integer greater than 1.

Abstract: A first access network device receives an addition request message from a second access network device. The first access network device determines a third uplink carrier used by a terminal to send a preamble to the first access network device, and sends an addition request acknowledgement message to the second access network device. The addition request acknowledgement message includes carrier indication information. The carrier indication information indicates the third uplink carrier. The third uplink carrier is at least one of the first uplink carrier or a second uplink carrier. The second uplink carrier and the first uplink carrier belong to a same cell of the first access network device and the second uplink carrier is a supplementary uplink carrier.

Abstract: A frequency domain resource processing method is provided. The method is performed by a radio access network (RAN) node and includes: configuring a plurality of frequency domain resources for a terminal; and sending first information to the terminal, where the first information is carried on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and includes a plurality of information bits, the plurality of information bits correspond to the plurality of frequency domain resources respectively, and the information bits are used to instruct to activate or deactivate the frequency domain resources corresponding to the information bits. Compared with a manner of activating a carrier by using a MAC layer information element, this method saves time for parsing the MAC information element. In addition, the plurality of frequency domain resources can be processed by sending only a piece of information.

Abstract: The technology described herein relates to determining transmit power of an uplink signal, to ensure uplink transmission performance of an new radio (NR) base station, and reduce impact on uplink transmission of a long term evolution (LTE) terminal. The technology includes receiving a message sent by a network device, where the message carries a first loss parameter related to a first uplink carrier and a second loss parameter related to a second uplink carrier, and calculating transmit power of an uplink signal. Where the uplink signal is sent on the first uplink carrier, the transmit power of the uplink signal can be calculated based on the first loss parameter related to the first uplink carrier. Where the uplink signal is sent on the second uplink carrier, the transmit power of the uplink signal can be calculated based on the second loss parameter related to the second uplink carrier.
