Abstract:
A charging session management method, where when user equipment (UE) is in a state of accessing to a network, there is an Internet Protocol (IP)-Connectivity access network (CAN) bearer between a gateway and the UE, where the IP-CAN bearer is used to transmit a data flow of the UE, and a charging session exists between the gateway and a charging system; and the method includes when a charging session established for the IP-CAN bearer exists between the gateway and the charging system, terminating, by the gateway, the charging session if determining that no data flow is transmitted on the IP-CAN bearer within a time threshold; and establishing, a new charging session for the IP-CAN bearer when detecting that a data flow transmission starts to be transmitted on the IP-CAN bearer.
Abstract:
A policy and charging enforcement function (PCEF) apparatus, an online charging apparatus, and an online charging method, where the online charging method includes receiving a policy and charging control (PCC) rule from a policy and charging rules function (PCRF), determining that a service data flow of a user equipment is a sponsor service data flow sponsored by a sponsor, determining, based on a rating group of the sponsor service data flow included in the PCC rule, whether the PCEF apparatus has a credit quota available to the sponsor service data flow when the sponsor service data flow uses online charging, and sending a credit control request including the rating group to the online charging apparatus when the PCEF apparatus does not have the credit quota available to the sponsor service data flow.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for processing a rate group, a method for charging for a data service, and a related device and system, so as to enable a charging system to accurately charge for the data service when the rate group changes. The method includes: determining, by a gateway device, whether a rate group of a service data stream changes; and if the rate group of the service data stream changes, reporting, by the gateway device, charging data to the charging system, so that the charging system performs charging according to the charging data, where the charging data includes service usage information and a reporting reason for reporting the charging data, and the reporting reason indicates a change of the rate group.
Abstract:
A policy decision method is provided, including receiving, by a policy and charging rules function (PCRF) device, a first user policy request for a first user sent by a gateway device, determining, by the PCRF device, that the first user and a second user share a usage quota, and the second user is an owner user of the usage quota, acquiring, by the PCRF device, a current second user counter status of a second user counter of the second user, and generating, by the PCRF device, a first user control policy according to the current second user counter status and sending the first user control policy to the gateway device. The present invention can implement sharing of accumulated data among users, reduces processing pressure of the charging system, and decreases a performance loss of the charging system.

Abstract:
A method, a terminal, an apparatus, and a system for device management (DM) are provided. Specifically, a DM terminal, a DM apparatus, method for managing the terminal device are provided. The method for managing the terminal device includes the following steps: adding, by a DM terminal device, management nodes in a DM tree of the DM terminal device; and recording, by the DM terminal device, MOs types supported by the DM terminal device in the management nodes added in the DM tree of the DM terminal device. Therefore, the problem that the server does not know the DM applications supported by the terminal, and in the method, a specific management operation is delivered to make the management of the server more flexible and effective.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a method and system for content categorization, which aims at reducing the processing burthen of the content categorization as well as the network transmission traffic. The method comprises: transmitting, by a content categorization requester, a content digest of a content to be categorized to a content categorization provider; and performing, by the content categorization provider, content categorization according to the content digest. The device for requesting content categorization comprises: a digest operation determination component, adapted to determine whether it is necessary to obtain a content digest of a content to be categorized; a digest obtaining component, adapted to obtain the content digest of the content to be categorized when the digest operation determination component determines it necessary to obtain the content digest of the content to be categorized; and a first transmit component, adapted to transmit the content digest obtained by the digest obtaining component.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the field of mobile communication technologies, and provides a method for locating operation nodes in a communication system. The method includes using an identifier in the received message to obtain an adjusted path from the root node of the management tree of the client to the standard management object corresponding to the identifier, using the message to obtain a relative path between the target operation node and the root node of the standard management object on the management tree, concatenating the adjusted path with the relative path, and locating the target operation node according to the concatenated path. The present disclosure also provides a system for locating operation nodes, a client for locating operation nodes in a communication system, and a server for performing management operations for clients.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a policy control method and system, and a relevant apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a policy decision apparatus, a control policy request sent by a gateway device, where the control policy request carries a subscriber identifier; sending, by the policy decision apparatus, a session request message carrying the subscriber identifier to a charging system; receiving, by the policy decision apparatus, a response message; receiving, by the policy decision apparatus, a notification message sent through an established session by the charging system, and generating a service data flow control policy according to information of an occurred charging relevant event; and sending, by the policy decision apparatus, the control policy to the gateway device. The method may implement, based on charging relevant information of a subscriber, policy control of a data flow, flexibility is desirable, and service experience of the subscriber is good.
Abstract:
A method for performing charging on a network resource is provided. The method mainly includes: determining a network slice performance indicator that is used for performing charging on a network slice instance; subscribing to data corresponding to the network slice performance indicator from a network slice management device; and performing charging on the network slice instance based on the data corresponding to the network slice performance indicator. According to the method, a charging result for a customer matches an input of an operator for the network slice instance, to help improve network resource utilization rate and meet diversified network service requirements of an industry customer.
