    Abstract: A data migration method and an apparatus are applied to a scenario in which a user plane gateway communicating with a terminal is changed from a source user plane gateway to a target user plane gateway. The target user plane gateway receives an address of the terminal from a control plane gateway, obtains an Ethernet data packet based on the address of the terminal, and sends the Ethernet data packet to an Ethernet interface, so that a switch obtains the Ethernet data packet through the Ethernet interface, and updates a MAC address table based on the Ethernet data packet.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a communication method and a device, which are used for inter-system handover of UE, so that a connection can be established between a source application management unit and a target application management unit, thereby effectively improving communication efficiency. The method in the embodiments of the present application includes: obtaining, by a network device, a source system identifier of a source application system and/or a target system identifier of a target application system; and sending, by the network device, the source system identifier to a target application management unit, or sending the target system identifier to a source application management unit, so that a connection is established between the source application management unit and the target application management unit, and the source application management unit and the target application management unit communicate with each other.

The method is applied to an MEC system and performed by a data bus controller, including: obtaining service information of at least one service in the MEC system, where service information of each service includes a service type and a service identity; generating a routing rule according to the service information of the at least one service, where the routing rule is used to indicate at least one path through which a data packet can pass; and sending the routing rule to a data bus, so that the data bus forwards, according to the routing rule, a received data packet to a service corresponding to the data packet. The service information of each service is dynamically obtained, so as to update a path indicated in a routing rule.

    Abstract: A routing rule management method and a communications apparatus, where after a first user plane function network element receives, through a protocol data unit (PDU) session, a first data packet, from a terminal, whose source address is a first address, the first user plane function network element generates a first routing rule corresponding to the PDU session when determining that the first address is an unknown media access control (MAC) address, and where the first routing rule is used to forward, to the PDU session, a data packet sent to the first address. After detecting the unknown MAC address, the first user plane function network element may generate a routing rule corresponding to the unknown MAC address without involvement of a session management function network element.
