Abstract:
Systems and methods are described for publishing a document. In one example, a user interface, configured for profiling a document, a publisher of the document, a plurality of document consumers and a plurality of ad buyers, is displayed. The system may remove from the plurality of ad buyers those ad buyers whose goods or services are found to overlap areas of goods or services offered by the publisher. The removal may be performed in an automated manner, and as a backup, in a manual manner by a user operating the user interface. The document consumers are matched with the plurality of ad buyers to find ad buyers that are compatible with the document. Content provided by the publisher and ads provided by ad buyers found to be compatible with the content are then combined to form the document.

A publishing system provides a publisher interface that is dedicated to receive information about creating a publication and that is also dedicated to initiate a search of an information store. The information store contains information about different members who can contribute to various phases of publication creation. The information store is searched to identify at least one member who can contribute to the creation of the publication.

A method of transferring an image on a surface to a substrate comprising: a) heating the surface to a first temperature above a temperature at which the image adheres to the substrate; b) heating the substrate to a second temperature above ambient temperature and below the first temperature; c) pressing the substrate to the surface; d) cooling the image while it is in contact with both the surface and the substrate such that it cools during said contact to a third temperature, below a temperature at which its cohesion is greater than its adhesion to the surface; and e) then separating the substrate from the surface, said image being transferred to the substrate.

A system may comprise a trigger creation module configured to provide a set of one or more trigger conditions, satisfaction of each trigger condition being based on sensor data to be received. A sensor interface module may be configured to receive actual sensor data from one or more sensors, the actual sensor data being generated contemporaneously with recording of an activity. A trigger satisfaction module may be configured to determine whether at least one trigger condition of the set of trigger conditions has been satisfied based on the actual sensor data. An event identification module may be configured to identify a potentially interesting event within the recording of the activity based on the satisfied at least one trigger condition.

A method for producing a customized print includes determining a color of at least one feature of an object, where the object is imaged with a reference color chart. A color palette is selected based on the at least one determined feature color and a print is generated based on the selected color palette. A system for producing a customized print is also described.

Advertisements in instances of a product are customized prior to distributing the instances to different recipients. Information about the different recipients is received, and information about vendor interest with respect to advertising in the product is received. Customized advertisements are generated for each instance of the product. The customized advertisements in each instance reflect a convergence of the vendor interest and the recipient information. The convergence occurs before the instances are created. As a result, advertising in different instances is customized for the different recipients.
