    摘要: For supporting a satellite based positioning of a mobile arrangement (30,40) with assistance data, a communication network converts parameters of a dedicated orbit model describing a movement of a satellite (50,60), which dedicated orbit model is defined for a particular satellite based positioning system, into parameters of a common orbit model describing a movement of a satellite (50,60). Alternatively or in addition, the network replaces a reference value that is based on a satellite based positioning system time in available parameters of an orbit model by a reference value that is based on a communication system time. After the parameter conversion and/or the reference value replacement, the parameters are provided as a part of assistance data for the satellite based positioning.

    摘要: A method for supporting a determination of the correlation between at least one received code modulated signal and at least one available replica code is shown. In order to reduce the total memory size required for such correlations, the method comprises storing signal samples of the at least one received code modulated signal with a first rate in a memory. The stored signal samples are then read with a second rate from the memory for determining a correlation between the read signal samples and samples of the at least one available replica code, wherein the second rate is higher than said first rate. The disclosure relates equally to a corresponding electronic device, to a chip for such an electronic device, to a system comprising such an electronic device and to a corresponding software product.

In the method, satellite orbit data and a default position for the electronic device are determined.     摘要: The invention relates to a method for determining the phase of information modulated in a code-modulated signal transmitted by a satellite in a receiver (MS). In the method, at least partly the same information is transmitted from at least a first and a second satellite (SV1-SV4) substantially simultaneously, the code-modulated signal transmitted from at least the first and the second satellite (SV1-SV4) is received, and at least the received signal of the first satellite is demodulated to determine the transmitted information. The method further comprises at least a first acquisition step, in which the receiver is synchronized with the signal of at least the first satellite (SV1); a determination step, in which said demodulated signal of the first satellite (SV1) is used to determine the phase of information modulated in the signal; a computing step to compute the difference in propagation time of the signal transmitted by said first satellite (SV1) and the signal transmitted by the second satellite (SV2) from the satellite (SV1, SV2) to the receiver (MS); a second acquisition step, in which the receiver is synchronized with the signal of the second satellite on the basis of the difference in propagation time computed in the computing step; and an integration step to receive the signal of the second satellite and to integrate epochs of a certain length to improve the demodulatability of the signal.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for determining an error in the reference time (15) of a receiver (MS) in positioning means (S,MS). In the method, a code modulated signal transmitted by satellites (SV1-SV4) is received the signal being formed with an individual code for each satellite (SV1-SV4). In the method, the time ({circumflex over (T)}ToTk) of transmission of the signal received from every satellite used in the positioning is determined to be used in determining the position of the satellite. To determine a difference between the time ({circumflex over (T)}ToTk) of transmission of the signal and the reference time, positioning is performed, and on the basis of the determined position, an error value (ERR) is calculated. Thus, in the method, a minimum point of the error value is searched for by determining the position of the receiver (MS) with at least two different positions of the satellite corresponding to the time of transmission and by calculating the error value (ERR) for said at least two determined positions for the receiver (MS).
