Abstract: A method for optimizing initial discriminating information extracted from a two-dimensional image of the patient dental arches, referred to as “acquired image”, by a three-dimensional digital reference model of at least one portion of a patient arch, the method including the steps: C1. assessing quality of the initial discriminating information and quality threshold, filtering to keep only the initial discriminating information that has quality higher than the quality threshold, and defining “the discriminating information to be tested” as the initial discriminating information selected; C2. testing consistency between the discriminating information to be tested and reference model; C3. assessing test result and, in accordance with the assessment: adding discriminating information that was not kept to the discriminating information to be tested and/or deleting discriminating information from the discriminating information to be tested, and then returning to step C2. or; defining the optimal discriminating information as the discriminating information to be tested.

Abstract: A method for monitoring the patient's teeth positioning, including the following steps: a) less than three months after the start of an orthodontic treatment, producing an initial reference model of the patient's arches, and, for each tooth, defining, from initial reference model, a tooth model; b) acquiring at least one updated image of the arches, under actual acquisition conditions; c) analyzing each updated image and producing an updated map relative to a piece of discriminating information; d) optionally determining rough virtual acquisition conditions that approximate the actual acquisition conditions; e) searching each updated image for a final reference model corresponding to the teeth's position during the updated image's acquisition, and; f) for each tooth model, comparing the tooth model's positions in the initial reference model and in reference model obtained at the end of the preceding steps, in order to determine movement of the teeth between steps a) and b).

Abstract: A method for modeling a dental arch of a patient. Creation of a historical library including more than 1000 historical tooth models, and assignment, to each historical tooth model, of a value for at least one tooth attribute value. Analysis of at least one analysis image of the dental arch by means of a deep learning device so as to determine at least one analysis tooth zone and at least one tooth attribute value. For each analysis tooth zone determined in the preceding step, search, in the historical library, for a historical tooth model exhibiting a maximal proximity with the analysis image. Arrangement of all of the optimal tooth models so as to create an assembled model which exhibits a maximal proximity Some optionally steps are possible.

Abstract: A device including a camera, a processing unit and a screen. The camera configured to, at an updated instant, acquire, by a cellphone or a tablet, an updated image representing a real dental scene. The processing unit configured to determine a virtual dental scene as a representation of the real scene on the updated image and identify an element of the virtual scene which does not comply with an assessment criterion, and highlighting and/or adding a message regarding this element in the virtual scene. The screen configured to display the updated image and present the virtual scene overlaid with the representation of the real scene on the updated image displayed on the screen, in transparent mode or not on the representation. The processing unit, the camera and the screen are configured to communicate with one another. The patient acquires the updated image and observes the screen.

Submission, to the trained first neural network, of a source photo representing a source dental scene in a dental context, so as to obtain a final image representing, hyper-realistically, the source dental scene after simulation of the dental event. Creation of a descriptor of the final image, or “final descriptor.” Creation of a historical record consisting of the final image and the final descriptor, and addition of the historical record in the historical learning base.

Abstract: Method for evaluating a dental situation of a patient. The method having the following successive steps: 1) generating an initial model of at least one dental arch of the patient, preferably by means of a scanner; 2) splitting the initial model in order to define a tooth model for at least some of the teeth represented on the initial model and thereby to obtain a split model; 3) determining an initial support curve of the tooth models in the split model; 4) fixing each tooth model virtually on the initial support curve, preferably by computer; 5) modifying the split model by deformation of the initial support curve according to a deformed support curve, so as to obtain a first deformed model, in which the tooth models are aligned according to the deformed support curve; 6) presenting the first deformed model.

Abstract: A method for generating a three-dimensional digital model of a dental arch of a patient. The method includes projection of at least one light beam onto the arch, so as to draw at least one light mark on the arch, and simultaneously, displacement of the arch across the beam and acquisition, during the displacement, of a series of updated images of the arch each showing an updated projection defined by the projected mark. The method includes identification of the updated projection on each updated image, then search for a three-dimensional digital model, called “updated model”, exhibiting a best fit with all the updated projections.
