A Thin Film Transistor comprises a gate electrode formed on a substrate; a gate insulation layer covering the gate electrode; an amorphous silicon (a-Si) region disposed on the gate insulation layer and above the gate electrode; a doped a-Si region formed on the a-Si region; the source and drain metal regions separately formed on the doped a-Si region and above the gate electrode, and isolated from the a-Si region; a passivation layer formed on the gate insulation layer and covering the source, drain and data-line (DL) metal regions; and a conductive layer formed on the passivation layer. The passivation layer has a first, second and third vias for respectively exposing the partial surfaces of the source, drain and DL metal regions. The first, second and third vias are filled with the conductive layer, so that the DL and source metal regions are connected via the conductive layer.

A wire rack includes: a pair of opposite supporting arms, each of which has opposite first and second ends; a connecting member interconnecting the supporting arms; a pair of opposite first confining arms extending respectively from the first ends of the supporting arms in opposite directions; a pair of pivot joints; and a pair of opposite second confining arms pivoted to the second ends of the supporting arms through the pivot joints, respectively, and rotatable relative to the supporting arms between a first angular position, in which each adjacent pair of the first and second confining arms cooperate with the respective one of the supporting arms to form into a U-shaped structure, and a second angular position, in which each of the second confining arms and the respective one of the supporting arms extend from the respective one of the pivot joints in opposite directions.

A pixel unit, method for sensing touch of an object, and a display apparatus incorporating the same are provided. The display apparatus includes a data line. The pixel unit includes a first switch circuit electrically connected to the data line and a sensing circuit electrically connected to the first switch circuit. The sensing circuit generates a signal in response to the touch of the object, while the signal is transmitted through the data line with the first switch circuit turned on. In addition, the display apparatus further includes a readout line. The pixel unit further includes a second switch circuit electrically connected to the readout line. The sensing circuit is electrically connected to the second switch circuit. In a first time period, the sensing circuit receives a reference voltage via the first switch circuit. Then the signal generated by the touch of the object is transmitted through the readout line via the second switch circuit in a second time period.

A display panel and its uses are provided. The display panel has several photo-sensors for detecting values of the visible light spectrum of the environmental light and whole light spectrum of the environmental light to obtain a value of the invisible light spectrum. The photo-sensor can be incorporated into an electro-optical device with a display panel.

A reel device includes a spool unit and a handle unit. The spool unit includes a tubular winding body and a pair of first and second flanges. The winding body has opposite first and second open ends, each of which has a peripheral edge. Each of the first and second flanges extends radially and outwardly from the peripheral edge of a respective one of the first and second open ends of the winding body. The handle unit is disposed in and is coupled rotatably to the winding body. The spool unit is rotatable relative to the handle unit in a first angular direction, and in a second angular direction opposite to the first angular direction.

An update server executing on the host responds with firmware image in response to request from modem. Any interface port may be used to receive updated firmware, including a network interface.
