Abstract: The display control method according to some embodiments of the present disclosure includes: acquiring an M-primary-color input signal from each pixel in an original image, the original image including a plurality of pixels corresponding to the plurality of pixel units respectively, each pixel being configured to display a colored image in M primary colors, M being an integer greater than 1 and smaller than N; and calculating an N-primary-color input signal for a corresponding pixel unit of the N-primary-color display panel in accordance with color coordinates of each primary color for the N-primary-color display panel and the M-primary-color input signal.

Abstract: A multi-primary color conversion method is provided to include: establishing a spatial gamut model of a display panel; determining a target peripheral surface corresponding to the target color according to the color coordinates of the target color and color coordinates of a color corresponding to each vertex of each peripheral surface; obtaining reference gray scales of a part of primary colors of the target color according to gray scales of the primary colors of a color corresponding to each vertex of the target peripheral surface; obtaining reference gray scales of the rest primary colors of the target color and a reference luminance of the target color; and respectively converting the reference gray scales of the plurality of primary colors of the target color into target gray scales according to a proportional relationship between the reference luminance and the target luminance of the target color.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for driving a display device, a driving apparatus, a display device, and a computer-readable medium. The display device includes a backlight module, which includes a plurality of backlight regions. The method includes: determining a first backlight signal value of each of the plurality of backlight regions according to input grayscale values of pixels in an image to be displayed; determining a second backlight signal value of each of the plurality of backlight regions according to the first backlight signal values of the plurality of backlight regions and a preset backlight diffusion function; and driving each of the plurality of backlight regions to emit light using the second backlight signal value of the backlight region.

The display device includes a backlight unit, the backlight unit includes a plurality of backlight blocks and is driven by a local dimming mode, and the image display processing method includes: acquiring a regional eigenvalue of each backlight block of an (n)th frame image and a regional eigenvalue of each backlight block of an (n−1)th frame image; and performing a peak driving processing on a backlight luminance of each backlight block of the (n)th frame image, based on a preset threshold, the regional eigenvalue of each backlight block of the (n)th frame image and the regional eigenvalue of each backlight block of the (n−1)th frame image, so as to acquire an adjusted backlight luminance of each backlight block of the (n)th frame image.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for converting a grayscale, and a display device, where color coordinates of respective pixel elements are determined according to grayscales corresponding to red sub-pixels, green sub-pixels, and blue sub-pixels in the respective pixel elements in image data of a frame to be displayed, and then the distances between the color coordinates of the respective pixel elements, and color coordinates of a preset white pixel on the panel, in a CIE chroma graph are determined; and the maximum grayscales of white sub-pixels in the respective pixel elements are further determined according to the respective determined distances and a preset segmentation function.
