摘要: A fluid dynamic bearing device is mainly composed of a housing, a bearing sleeve, and a rotary member. The housing is formed by a side portion formed through injection molding of a resin material, and a bottom member fixed to a fixing portion provided in the inner periphery at one axial end of the side portion and adapted to close an opening at one axial end of the side portion. The fixing portion is a molding surface formed through solidification, in conformity with the inner surface of the mold, of the resin injected by the injection molding.

摘要: An inner space of a housing sealed with a seal member as well as internal pores of a bearing member (pores in a porous structure) are filled with a lubricating oil without the presence of air, so that the oil surface of the lubricating oil is within a seal space. Under a reduced pressure of 100 Torr, no lubricating oil leaks outside of the housing even at any attitude of the fluid lubricated bearing device such as normal, inverted, or horizontal attitude.

The rolling bearing comprises an inner ring, an outer ring, and a plurality of rolling elements arranged between the inner and outer rings, oil films being interposed between the rolling elements and raceway surfaces of the-rings. Here, the inner raceway surface and the outer raceway surface are made coarser to such a surface roughness (Ra=0.1 &mgr;m or so) that they come into metal contact wit the rolling elements for electric connection.

摘要: A fluid dynamic bearing device (21) includes: a shaft member (22); a housing (29) as an outer member which is arranged on a radially outer side of the shaft member (22) and is opened at both ends; a radial bearing gap which is formed on a radially inner side of the housing (29) and faces an outer peripheral surface of the shaft member (22); and a lid member (30) closing an opening on one end side of the housing (29), wherein the lid member (30) is fitted to an outer peripheral surface of the housing (29) with a fastening allowance which does not affect accuracy of a surface defining an outer diameter dimension of the radial bearing gap so that the housing (29) and the lid member (30) are bonded and fixed to each other.

摘要: A fluid dynamic bearing device including: a bearing sleeve fixed to an inner periphery of a housing; a shaft member removably inserted along an inner periphery of the bearing sleeve; an annular member having an inner peripheral surface for defining a radial gap together with an outer peripheral surface of the shaft member; and radial bearing portions and a thrust bearing portion for supporting the shaft member. At least the radial bearing gap at each of the radial bearing portions, and a bottom gap having the thrust bearing portion received therein are filled with lubricating oil. A void section is formed in an interior space of the housing. Assuming that d1 represents a gap width of the radial bearing gap and d2 represents a gap width of the radial gap, a relationship of 30d1≦d2≦250d1 is satisfied.

摘要: An inner peripheral surface and a lower end surface of a bearing sleeve made of a sintered metal are each formed into a smooth cylindrical surface or a flat surface that does not have a dynamic pressure generating portion. Thus, a step of forming the dynamic pressure generating portion can be omitted from a manufacturing step of the bearing sleeve, and cost of dies can be markedly reduced. Further, the inner peripheral surface of the bearing sleeve is formed into the smooth cylindrical surface, and hence a radial dynamic pressure generating portion is formed on an outer peripheral surface of a shaft member. However, the outer peripheral surface of the shaft portion is accessible to tools, and hence the radial dynamic pressure generating portion can be formed easily with high accuracy. As a result, accuracy of a radial bearing gap is enhanced so that a bearing rigidity is enhanced.
