    摘要: An optical disk device and recording method of recording data on an optical disk by driving a laser light source with a driving current superimposed with a high-frequency current. The device and method includes a controller for disabling tracking servo and establishing conditions for reproducing a signal from a predetermined region of the optical disk, for generating a tracking error signal by superimposing the high-frequency current varied in amplitude on the driving current for the laser light source, for determining an amplitude of the high-frequency current that provides an optimum quality of the generated tracking error signal, and for recording data on the optical disk by applying the driving current for the laser light source superimposed with the high-frequency current of the determined amplitude.

    摘要: A polar group-containing olefin copolymer having excellent adhesion properties to metals or polar resins and excellent compatibility therewith, a process for preparing the copolymer, a thermoplastic resin composition containing the copolymer, and uses thereof. The polar group-containing olefin copolymer comprises a constituent unit derived from an □-olefin of 2 to 20 carbon atoms, and a constituent unit derived from a straight-chain, branched or cyclic polar group-containing monomer having at the end a polar group such as a hydroxyl group or an epoxy group and/or a constituent unit derived from a macromonomer having at the end a polymer segment obtained by anionic polymerization, ring-opening polymerization or polycondensation. The polar group-containing olefin copolymer can be prepared by polymerizing the α-olefin with the polar group-containing monomer and/or the macromonomer in the presence of a metallocene catalyst. The polar group-containing olefin copolymer and the thermoplastic resin composition containing the copolymer are used for films, sheets, modifiers, building/civil engineering materials, automobile exterior trim, electric/electronic parts, coating bases, compatibilizing agents, etc.

The image displaying apparatus includes first to third reflective polarizing plates (120, 121, 122) provided for first to third reflective spatial light modulators (130, 131, 132), respectively. The reflective polarizing plates polarize and separate beams to be injected into the reflective spatial light modulators. In the image displaying apparatus, a color separating optical system has a larger effective diameter than a color composition prism (140).

    摘要: A polar group-containing olefin copolymer having excellent adhesion properties to metals or polar resins and excellent compatibility therewith, a process for preparing the copolymer, a thermoplastic resin composition containing the copolymer, and uses thereof. The polar group-containing olefin copolymer comprises a constituent unit derived from an □-olefin of 2 to 20 carbon atoms, and a constituent unit derived from a straight-chain, branched or cyclic polar group-containing monomer having at the end a polar group such as a hydroxyl group or an epoxy group and/or a constituent unit derived from a macromonomer having at the end a polymer segment obtained by anionic polymerization, ring-opening polymerization or polycondensation. The polar group-containing olefin copolymer can be prepared by polymerizing the α-olefin with the polar group-containing monomer and/or the macromonomer in the presence of a metallocene catalyst.     摘要: A thermoplastic resin composition (Y) characterized by comprising (A) 20 to 64.9 wt % one or more ethylene copolymers comprising an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer, (B) 35 to 70 wt % metal hydroxide, and (C) 0.1 to 30 wt % grafted ethylene polymer. The resin composition has excellent flame retardancy and has satisfactory pliability/flexibility and excellent tensile properties. It is suitable for use as an insulating material or sheath for electric wires. Also provided are: a polymer composition (Z) having high flame retardancy, characterized by comprising relative to (AA) 100 parts by weight of a polymer such as a thermoplastic polymer or thermosetting polymer, in the ratio of (BB) 50 to 250 parts by weight of a metal hydroxide, (E) 0.1 to 40 parts by weight of a triazine ring containing compound, and (F) 0.1 to 40 parts by weight of a polyhydric alcohol; and a molded object obtained from the polymer composition. These are suitable for use as an insulating material or sheath for electric wires.

The projection display apparatus comprising a color separation and synthesis optical system 4, that performs color synthesis, generating an image, after separating light of the three primary colors of determined polarities into the respective three colors, and modulating those three color lights in relation to respective image signals therefor, and a projection lens 106. The color separation and synthesis optical system 4 comprises polarized light separating means 8, 9, 11 and 16 disposed in respective diagonal directions therein and reflecting spatial light modulating elements 12, 13 and 14 disposed to perform light modulation coordinated to an image signal for each respective color, for light separated according to polarization by the four polarized light separating means 8, 9, 11. Three spatial light modulating elements 12, 13 and 14 are disposed on the outer side of the polarized light separating means 9, 11 and 16, other than the polarized light separating means 8, that is disposed on that side of incident light, at least two from among the four polarized light separating means 8, 9, 11 and 16 are wire grid polarized light separating plates and an astigmatism correcting lens 21 is provided between the polarized light separating means 16 disposed on that side at which projection is performed and at least one of the spatial light modulating elements.

    摘要: A color separating/light guiding optics comprises two independent dichroic mirrors, reflection mirrors and correcting lenses. A horizontal plane region occupied by these optical components is entirely involved in a horizontal plane region occupied by a light modulating/color compositing/image projecting optics. A red beam is guided along a detoured optical path extending across a dead space below a projection lens. Although the optical path length of the red beam becomes longer than those of the blue beam and the green beam, the detoured optical path provides a sufficient space for installing the correcting lenses. The substantial optical path lengths of three primary color beams can be equalized with each other by the provision of these correcting lenses.
