    摘要: A team roping dummy that encourages more correct roping. The dummy head can be rotated to different angles to match that of a typical running steer. A blocker post extends vertically out of the neck, which makes the roper deliver the loop at the proper plane. The blocker post further causes the roper to rope the horns in the center of the loop versus roping with the front or back edge of loop. The back legs extend at proper angle of heel loop swing, causing the roper to match the angle of the loop during its swing to the angle of the legs and provides a visual line to match the plane of the loop.

    摘要: The present invention is a team roping dummy that encourages more correct roping via new innovations. The dummy has a relatively compact main body with collapsible legs, removable head, and internal body storage for head. The dummy head has a means for allowing the head to be rotated to different angles to match that of a typical running steer. The neck is sloped similar to an actual steer. They shoulder of the dummy has a hump as to the shoulders of live steers, which makes roper deliver at the proper angle to achieve the rope curling on the back. It's legs rotate back onto body for storage, which also creates rope storage compartments on both sides of main body. In order to aid in the rope's loop expansion and ease of removal, the legs collapse toward one another under the pressure of a tightened rope, and re-expand after rope is loosened. A blocker post extends vertically out of neck, which makes the roper deliver the loop at the proper plane. The blocker post further causes the roper to rope the horns in the center of the loop versus roping with the front or back edge of loop. The back legs extend at proper angle of heel loop swing, causing the roper to match the angle of the loop during its swing to the angle of the legs and provides a visual line to match the plane of the loop. The dummy has removable and rotatable horns allowing for different horn sizes, shapes, and angles.

    摘要: A method, an apparatus and a computer program product for converting an XML encoded dataset into a minimal set of SQL tables and provided. In the method, a hierarchical structure in the XML encoded dataset is identified. A node element set for the XML encoded dataset is determined, wherein each node element in the node element set is a discrete level of the hierarchical structure of the dataset. One or more nodes of the XML encoded dataset are determined, each node being an instance of a node element. A unique node identifier is allocated to each node. Then, an SQL node table containing one or more records is generated, each record corresponding to a respective one of the allocated node identifiers. An SQL ancestry table is optionally generated to define the inter-relationships among nodes of the identified hierarchical structure of the XML encoded dataset.

    摘要: A method for cooling and pressurizing a laser imaging head includes the steps of: providing the imaging head with components including a laser source, a light valve for modulating light from the laser source, and optics for transferring an image to a medium; enclosing the imaging head within a non-hermetically sealed enclosure; and providing a flow of cooled air at a predetermined cool air temperature and at a controlled positive air pressure into the sealed enclosure through an inlet from a vortex tube operating from compressed air, wherein the cooled air flow and the predetermined cooled air temperature are controlled by the vortex tube to maintain an operating temperature of the components within the imaging head within a predetermined operating range, and wherein the positive air pressure is maintained within the sealed enclosure with respect to ambient air pressure outside of the sealed enclosure due to the controlled flow of cooled air entering the sealed enclosure.

The inner web and outer ring of a diaphragm include complementary shaped dovetail grooves. The male dovetails have a reduced diameter portions while the female grooves similarly have corresponding reduced diameter groove portions. The male dovetails are inserted into the female dovetail grooves in an aft direction with stops of the reduced male and female dovetails preventing further movement aft. Seal welds are applied to prevent forward movement of the partitions relative to the web and outer ring.

    摘要: Bucket tip tenons requiring refurbishment are removed from the bucket tips by grinding. Groups of buckets are clamped on a rotatable table in positions adjacent an induction heating coil and a robotic welding arm, respectively. While one group is preheated, the other group of buckets is in a welding location, enabling the welding head on the robotic arm to sequentially apply weld buildup material to the bucket tips. After applying weld buildup material in multiple passes and sequentially to the bucket tips, the buckets are removed, stress-relieved and the weld buildup material machined to provide refurbished tenons. Upon removal of the buckets from the table, the table is rotated to locate the preheated buckets in welding locations and additional buckets are clamped to the table for preheating.

    摘要: A coolant loop for an imaging engine light source avoids the necessity for a chiller or an expensive thermo-electric cooler. Instead, it uses a standard heat exchanger and a pneumatically-operated cooler, such as a vortex cooler. The advantage of a pneumatically-operated cooler is that in platesetters and imagesetters, for example, compressors are typically already included in the machines as a power sources for mechanical actuation within the machines. By simply increasing the nominal capacity of these compressors, the requirement for the expensive chillers or thermo-electric coolers can be thus avoided.
