Abstract:
A memory card comprises a memory controller connected to a non-volatile memory module. The memory controller comprises a first circuit adapted to convert a first external address into a first internal address using a program stored in an internal memory. The memory controller further comprises a hardware accelerator adapted to generate a second internal address based on the first internal and external addresses.
Abstract:
A mobile communication system and method for maintaining a call setup for a domain transfer are provided. The mobile communication system includes a calling terminal and a VCC server. The calling terminal notifies, when performing a domain transfer during reception of a ring-back tone in a call setup process with a called terminal, the domain transfer to the VCC server, and receives a response message for a call setup request from the VCC server to perform a call connection with the called terminal. The VCC server performs, when receiving a domain transfer notification message from the calling terminal, a call setup process with the domain to which the calling terminal transferred while maintaining the previous call setup process performed before the domain transfer, and releases the previous call setup process.
Abstract:
A surface treatment layer containing alkali metal oxide is formed on at least one of substrates to form a body of a surface light source. The surface treatment layer may be formed of oxide by coating at least one of cesium, potassium, rubidium, and compound thereof on the surface of the substrate and by performing heat treatment to the substrate. The surface treatment layer containing alkali metal oxide easily emits secondary electrons and reduces firing voltage of the surface light source. Black start is improved, discharging efficiency is increased, and heat generated during the operation is decreased.
Abstract:
There is provided a substrate for a surface light source device, comprising a first secondary electron emission layer including crystalline magnesium oxide (MgO) powder on a surface of the substrate. There is also provided a surface light source device comprising a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other at a predetermined distance between which a discharge space is formed; and an electrode to apply a discharge voltage to the discharge space, wherein a first secondary electron emission layer including crystalline MgO powder is formed on a surface of at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate. Preferably, the crystalline MgO powder is obtained by grinding an MgO sputtering target. There is provided a backlight unit comprising a surface light source device including a discharge space formed between a first substrate and a second substrate, an electrode to apply a discharge voltage to the discharge space, and a first secondary electron emission layer including crystalline MgO powder on a surface of at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate; a case to receive the surface light source device; and an inverter to supply a discharge voltage to the electrode. Preferably, a second secondary electron emission layer ion-exchanged with a secondary electron emitting material is formed under a surface of the substrate.
Abstract:
Provided is a dot sighting device with large caliber for binocular vision in which sighting can be performed rapidly and accurately by minimizing parallax. The dot sighting device is attached to and detached from a mount for a heavy machine gun. In addition, by using the dot sighting device with large caliber, a user can rapidly and accurately sight and fire a target by taking into consideration types and characteristics of the target and a distance to the target.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an optical scope including an objective lens, an eyepiece lens, and a reticle, wherein a field lens having negative power is disposed in at least one of a front and a back of the reticle disposed on an image formation surface of the objective lens to increase eye-relief.
Abstract:
A flash memory management method is provided. According to the method, when a request to write the predetermined data to a page to which data has been written is made, the predetermined data is written to a log block corresponding to a data block containing the page. When a request to write the predetermined data to the page again is received, the predetermined data is written to an empty free page in the log block. Even if the same page is requested to be continuously written to, the management method allows this to be processed in one log block, thereby improving the effectiveness in the use of flash memory resources.
Abstract:
Disclosed here is a speed control apparatus for a switched reluctance motor (SRM) including: a current control unit generating command currents for each period; a driving unit generating a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal to allow a voltage to be applied to the SRM; a magnetic flux error calculating unit calculating a magnetic flux error; a rotor position estimating unit calculating an estimation position using the magnetic flux error to output the estimation position to the magnetic flux error calculating unit; and a mode change-over unit allowing a command position corresponding to a command speed to be input to the magnetic flux error calculating unit.
