Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station as part of a wireless communications system. The UE may identify a configuration for one or more repetitions of an uplink control channel transmission, where each repetition of the one or more repetitions including a first quantity of symbols. The UE may determine a power level for each repetition of the one or more repetitions. The UE may then identify that a second quantity of symbols is available to the UE to transmit a repetition of the one or more repetitions, and the second quantity of symbols may be less than the first quantity of symbols indicated by the configuration. The UE may transmit, to a base station, the repetition on the using the power level.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications provide for feedback transmissions using an uplink shared channel. A user equipment (UE) may transmit feedback to a base station using physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resources. The base station may transmit an uplink grant to the UE indicating a set of resources for uplink data transmissions. The base station may subsequently transmit a downlink grant for the UE. Based on monitoring resources indicated by the downlink grant, the UE may generate feedback indicating the success of receiving or decoding the PDSCH transmission. The UE may transmit the feedback to the base station on the PUSCH resources. In some cases, the UE may transmit both the feedback for the PDSCH transmission received after the uplink grant and for a second PDSCH transmission received prior to the uplink grant using PUSCH resources.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for multiple downlink control information (DCI) message handling for multiple control resource set (CORESET) groups. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may provide separate or joint feedback for data messages received from different CORESET groups. In some examples, the UE may be configured with code block group (CBG)-based transmissions for a component carrier (CC) or a CORESET group in a CC. If implementing a dynamic codebook, the UE may track separate transport block (TB)-based and CBG-based downlink assignment indexes (DAIs) for each CORESET group or may track joint TB-based and CBG-based DAIs across the set of CORESET groups to handle the CBG configuration. Additionally, or alternatively, if implementing a semi-static codebook, the UE may apply skipping rules across the set of CORESET groups or separately for each CORESET group to reduce signaling overhead.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) or a base station, or both, may determine a configuration for partitioning a set of sequences into multiple sequence pools associated with multiple UEs. The UE or the base station, or both, may determine a sequence pool associated with the UE based on the configuration, which may include parameters or instructions for determining the sequence pool associated with the UE. The UE or the base station, or both, may select a subset of sequences from the sequence pool associated with the UE and construct a codebook including the subset of sequences. The UE may select a sequence from the constructed codebook based on a quantity of bits of a payload and may transmit the payload to the base station using the selected sequence.
