    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select, for a sidelink transmission over an unlicensed band and associated with a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU), one or more candidate resources of a set of candidate resources that are within an adaptive effective contention window (ECW). The UE may adjust at least one parameter of the adaptive ECW to determine an adjusted at least one parameter based at least in part on a channel access output associated with the one or more candidate resources. The UE may transmit the MAC PDU using the one or more candidate resources or an additional one or more candidate resources, wherein the additional one or more candidate resources are selected based at least in part on the adjusted at least one parameter.     Abstract: Embodiments include methods performed by a processor of a wireless device for discontinuous reception. The processor may monitor for sidelink control signaling from a base station using a radio of the wireless device during a sidelink control signaling monitoring duration. The processor may receive sidelink control signaling that allocates a sidelink communication resource and schedules a sidelink communication. The processor may perform the scheduled sidelink communication based on the received sidelink control signaling. The processor may place the radio of the wireless device into a low power mode outside of the sidelink control signaling monitoring duration when no sidelink communication is scheduled.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for determining a target base station timing advance value between a user equipment (UE) and target base station in connection with a random access channel (RACH)-less handover procedure. In one aspect, the UE may determine the target base station's timing advance based at least in part on a timing difference between the target base station and the source base station and based at least in part on a timing offset associated with an uplink and a downlink of the UE. In some aspects, the target base station may determine the timing advance using an uplink reference signal of the UE. In some aspects, the UE may report a timing difference between the target base station and the source base station, and the source cell may determine a timing advance based at least in part on the timing difference.

In some aspects, a parent node may configure first and second backhaul radio link control (RLC) channels based on requests received from a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor central unit (CU) and a second IAB donor CU, respectively. The parent node may select first and second logical channel identifiers for the first and second backhaul RLC channels, the second logical channel identifier being different from the first logical channel identifier, and may provide the first and second logical channel identifiers to the first IAB donor CU and the second IAB donor CU, respectively. The parent node may receive a packet including either the first logical channel identifier or the second logical channel identifier, and process the packet based on which of the first and second logical channel identifiers is included in the packet.
