Abstract: A method and apparatus for a reflective intelligent surface (RIS) control interface. The apparatus transmits, to a RIS, a synchronization signal to establish a level of synchronization between the base station and the RIS. The level of synchronization between the base station and the RIS configures the RIS to receive a control signal from the base station. The apparatus transmits, to the RIS, the control signal comprising a RIS configuration. The apparatus may transmit, to the RIS, a signal for reflection by the RIS to at least a first wireless device.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a message indicating that the UE is to execute a make-before-break handover procedure. The UE may transmit, during the make-before-break handover procedure and based at least in part on a prioritization rule, a first uplink communication to a target base station. The prioritization rule may indicate a relative priority for different uplink communications included in a group of uplink communications. The group of uplink communications may include at least the first uplink communication to be transmitted by the UE to the target base station and a second uplink communication to be transmitted by the UE to a source base station during the make-before-break handover procedure. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Aspects are provided that allow a UE to perform DMRS bundling in different transport blocks of uplink data on PUSCH in response to a configuration from a base station indicating or enabling the UE to perform the DMRS bundling. The UE receives a configuration from a base station indicating to bundle DMRS in different uplink data channel transmissions for joint channel estimation. The UE determines a DMRS bundling window based on the configuration. The UE transmits the bundled DMRS in the DMRS bundling window. The base station performs the joint channel estimation based on the bundled DMRS. Improved link quality between the UE and base station and signal gains may accordingly result from applying DMRS bundling over different PUSCH transmissions.
