    Abstract: An apparatus may use inactive uplink portions of a downlink CC to transmit SRS to an eNB. At times there may be a collision between the SRS transmission and uplink transmissions or downlink transmissions on another CC. The apparatus receives a carrier aggregation configuration for a first downlink CC and a second CC, determines to transmit an uplink transmission on the second CC or to receive a downlink transmission on the second CC, determines that the SRS would at least partially collide with the uplink transmission or the downlink transmission, and determines to adjust at least one of the uplink transmission, the SRS transmission, or reception of the downlink transmission based on the determination of the collision and an interruption time to transmit the SRS in the uplink portion of the first CC.

    Abstract: An example data structure for managing user equipment communications in a wireless communications system is presented, as well as methods and apparatuses configured to implement the data structure. For instance, the data structure may include a downlink subframe comprising two slots and including one or more quick downlink channels having a single-slot transmission time interval. In addition, the example data structure may include one or more resource element blocks each comprising one or more resource elements into which a frequency bandwidth is divided within one or both of the two slots, wherein each of the one or more resource element blocks comprises a control channel region or a data channel region. Furthermore, the example data structure may include one or more resource grants, located within one or more control channel regions, for one or more user equipment served by the one or more quick downlink channels.

The method includes determining a codebook for a CSI report corresponding to four transmit antenna (4Tx) transmissions from a base station. The codebook has a dual codebook structure.     Abstract: A method of wireless communication at a serving base station identifies a potential interference condition based on an uplink/downlink configuration mismatch. The method includes signaling, to a neighbor base station, to restrict transmissions based on the identified potential interference condition. The transmissions may be restricted by beamforming the transmissions into a different direction and/or blocking transmissions on a frequency. The signaling prompts the neighbor base station to restrict downlink transmissions that will potentially interfere with uplink control channel transmissions received at the serving base station, or to restrict uplink transmissions, intended for the neighbor base station, that will potentially interfere with downlink control channel transmissions from the serving base station.

    Abstract: Cell selection techniques are provided for network access to cells that may employ one or more coverage enhancement techniques. A user equipment (UE), which may be a machine type communication (MTC) device, upon initial acquisition or upon wakeup may measure a reference signal received power (RSRP), reference signal received quality (RSRQ), or both, and determine a cell selection value based at least in part on the RSRP, RSRQ, or a combination thereof. The cell selection value may be determined based on an offset, which may be selected based on a measurement accuracy capability of the UE. UE sequential access attempts, neighbor cell list information that may include coverage enhancement of neighboring cells transmissions, and cell re-selection measurement frequency adjustments are also described.
