    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for resolving paging collisions, for example, for a UE camped on multiple cells. In some cases, a UE detects, based on paging configurations, a conflict between configured paging occasions of at least two cells on which the UE is camped, signals an indication of the conflict to at least one of the cells, and receives information regarding a new paging configuration designed to resolve the conflict. In some cases, a UE identifies a different cell to camp on that is not subject to the conflict, wherein the different cell is not as good a candidate for cell selection as one of the conflicting cells in terms of cell selection criteria, and camps on the identified cell.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) receiving a configuration message from a base station for supporting random access channel (RACH) type selection by the UE. The configuration message may include one or more reference signals and one or more link quality thresholds corresponding to the one or more reference signals. The UE may generate measurements of the reference signals and determine link quality for communications between the UE and the base station based on the measurements. Based on a comparison between the link quality to corresponding link quality thresholds, the UE may select a two-step random access procedure, a four-step random access procedure, or both for establishing a connection with the base station. In some cases, the UE considers system loading information, transmission parameters, or random access rules in selecting the random access procedure.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sending a configuration for conditional configured grant (CG) occasions for uplink transmission to a user equipment (UE). Each conditional CG occasion may be associated with multiple conditional CG resources. Each conditional CG resource may be associated with a sending window. The UE may monitor within sensing windows for conditional CG resources of a certain conditional CG occasion for over the air (OTA) signals from other UEs to determine if the conditional CG resources are available for uplink transmission. The UE may skip the conditional CG occasion when the conditional CG resources are not available. The UE may perform uplink transmission on the conditional CG resources when the conditional CG resources are available.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may switch from a first group of search space sets for monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) to an empty group of search space sets. The UE may refrain from monitoring the PDCCH based at least in part on switching to the empty group. In some aspects, the UE may switch from a first group of PDCCH search space sets to at least one dormant group of PDCCH search space sets identified in configuration information. The UE may also process one or more PDCCH search space sets of the at least one dormant group of PDCCH search space sets based at least in part on the received configuration information.
