Abstract: Monostatic radar with progressive length transmission may be used with half-duplex systems or with full-duplex systems to reduce self-interference. The system transmits a first signal for a first duration and receives a first reflection of the first signal from a first object during a second duration. The system transmits a second signal for a third duration longer than the first duration and receives a second reflection of the second signal from a second object during a fourth duration. The system calculates a position of the first object and the second object based on the first reflection and the second reflection. The first signal, first duration, and second duration are configured to detect reflections from objects within a first distance of the system. The second signal, third duration, and fourth duration are configured to detect reflections from objects between the first distance and a second distance from the system.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource configuration, the SRS resource configuration indicating at least a comb pattern for at least one SRS resource allocated to the UE and a puncturing unit for the comb pattern, wherein the comb pattern is divided into one or more puncturing units, wherein each puncturing unit comprises one or more time units of the comb pattern, and wherein each of the one or more time units comprises two or more symbols, and refrains from transmitting all SRS transmissions of the at least one SRS resource within a first puncturing unit of the one or more puncturing units based on a determination that one or more SRS transmissions of the at least one SRS resource within the first puncturing unit are to be dropped.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) transmits reference signals for positioning while in Idle or Inactive state. While in a connected state, the UE is pre-configured with Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resource configuration including at least one of timing adjustment (TA) and an uplink (UL) transmission spatial filter. The UE transmits positioning SRS while in Idle or Inactive mode based on the pre-configuration. The TA and UL transmission spatial filter may be updated by a serving base station using control signals or a paging message received by the UE while in in Idle or Inactive mode. The validity of the TA and UL transmission spatial filter may be monitored using expiration timers or a relative position change threshold. The reference signals transmitted may be based on a UE may Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH), which is insensitive to TA changes. A long sequence PRACH may be used for improved positioning accuracy.

Abstract: A method performed by a first sidelink (SL) user equipment (UE) includes receiving a downlink control information (DCI) from a number of coupled DCIs. The DCI grants reception of a number of scheduled physical SL shared channels (PSSCHs) over an unlicensed SL carrier, and requests a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) response for the scheduled PSSCHs. The method also includes receiving at least one of the PSSCHs from a second SL UE. The method further includes transmitting the HARQ response based on the at least one received PSSCH.

In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) measures at least a line-of-sight (LOS) path and a non-line-of-sight (NLOS) path of a first downlink positioning reference signal (DL-PRS) from a first transmission-reception point (TRP), measures at least an LOS path and an NLOS path of a second DL-PRS from a second TRP, measures at least an LOS path and an NLOS path of a third DL-PRS from a third TRP, and enables a location of a non-participating target object to be determined based, at least in part, on reference signal time difference (RSTD) measurements between a time of arrival (ToA) of the LOS path of the first DL-PRS and the ToAs of the NLOS paths of the first, second, and third DL-PRS. In an aspect, the non-participating target object does not participate in determining its own location.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to sharing channel occupancy time (COT) for a channel in an unlicensed 5G spectrum in an integrated access backhaul (IAB) network are provided. In some aspects, an IAB node of the IAB network may perform a channel access procedure to acquire the COT and share the COT with a parent IAB node and/or a child IAB node for the parent IAB node and/or child IAB node to communicate back with the COT initiating IAB node. The sharing of the COT with the parent IAB node and/or child IAB node may also include a sharing of the same COT between a distributed unit and a mobile terminal of the COT-initiating IAB node.
