    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may encode, at a layer two (L2) layer of the transmitting device, a set of service data units (SDUs) according to a set of network coding parameters to obtain a first set of protocol data units (PDUs). The transmitting device may transmit, to one or more receiving devices, the first set of PDUs. The transmitting device may receive, from a receiving device of the one or more receiving devices, a report indicating an SDU of the set of SDUs that was unsuccessfully received at the receiving device. The transmitting device may transmit, to the one or more receiving devices, based at least in part on the received report, a second set of one or more PDUs corresponding to at least the SDU of the set of SDUs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configuration for processing a data block into an unencoded uplink signal. The UE may determine pre-equalization parameters corresponding to the unencoded uplink signal based on the indication of the configuration. The UE may apply analog modulation and the pre-equalization parameters to the data block to form the unencoded uplink signal and transmit the unencoded uplink signal on overlapping time-frequency resources with one or more other UEs according to an over the air computation operation. The UE may determine a plurality of channel inversion coefficients based on the indication of the configuration for processing the data block into the unencoded uplink signal, measuring one or more reference signals, receiving an indication of an inversion granularity, receiving an inversion coefficient power threshold, or any combination thereof.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for environment sensing by an electronic device, such as a user equipment (UE) or base station. In an aspect, the electronic device uses a radio frequency (RF) signal configured to transmit information on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols in accordance with a wireless communication standard, such as Fifth Generation (5G) New Radio (NR), for environment sensing. The electronic device configures one or more transmission parameters for the RF signal based on one or more factors related to a resolution to be provided by the RF signal, a type of application for which the environment sensing RF signal is being transmitted, capabilities of the UE, and the like.
