Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor central unit (CU) may transmit, to a second IAB donor CU, a resource configuration of a first cell served by an IAB node to initiate a migration of the IAB node from a first parent node to a second parent node serving a second cell associated with the second IAB donor CU. The first IAB donor CU may receive, from the second IAB donor CU, an indication that communications performed by the IAB node associated with the first cell will not conflict with communications with the second parent node serving the second cell. The first IAB donor CU may migrate the IAB node to the second parent node based at least in part on the indication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor central unit (CU) may receive, from a first IAB node, an indication of a first distributed unit (DU) cell resource configuration for communications corresponding to a first cell that is associated with a second IAB donor CU. The IAB donor CU may transmit, to a second IAB node, an indication of a second DU cell resource configuration for communications corresponding to a second cell, wherein the second DU cell resource configuration is based at least in part on the first DU cell resource configuration and a multiplexing constraint associated with communications corresponding to the first cell and communications corresponding to the second cell. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a repeater in a wireless communication system. The repeater is configured to detect synchronization signals broadcast by one or more cells in the communication system, and then process at least one portion of the detected synchronization signals in the repeater. From the detected synchronization signals, the repeater determines at least one of a cell selection and a beam forming configuration for at least a fronthaul link between the repeater and a base station in the communication system based on the processing of the at least one portion of the detected synchronization signals. This allows the repeater to gain information for beam forming without the need for digital processing and to establish a control link with the base station or cell.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a parent node may configure first and second backhaul radio link control (RLC) channels based on requests received from a first integrated access and backhaul (IAB) donor central unit (CU) and a second IAB donor CU, respectively. The parent node may select first and second logical channel identifiers for the first and second backhaul RLC channels, the second logical channel identifier being different from the first logical channel identifier, and may provide the first and second logical channel identifiers to the first IAB donor CU and the second IAB donor CU, respectively. The parent node may receive a packet including either the first logical channel identifier or the second logical channel identifier, and process the packet based on which of the first and second logical channel identifiers is included in the packet. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring multi-beam full-duplex communication that allows a device (e.g., user equipment (UE) or base station) to contemporaneously perform both uplink and downlink communication over the same frequency band. Because of the full duplex communication capability provided by the present disclosure, the NR system may achieve reduced latency and improved spectrum and resource efficiency, thereby accommodating a growing demands for the wireless communication. The full duplex communication capability may be achieved by implementing downlink control information (DCI) format that specifies to the UE the beam assignments for contemporaneous transmission (Tx) and reception (Rx). Particularly, beams may be selected such that the beam(s) assigned for communication are independent and uncorrelated, and therefore provide sufficient beam diversity in order to mitigate the limitations of current systems, including self-interference that has hindered implementation of full duplex communication in current systems.
