Abstract: The present disclosure describes control of user equipment (UE) transmission power level in sidelink discovery and/or communications processes. In order to reduce interference with base station and/or other UE transmissions that occur geographically proximate to a UE, sidelink power transmission levels are controlled based on one or more factors. A method in accordance with an aspect of the present disclosure includes determining at least one transmission parameter at the first UE, determining a transmit power level based on the at least one transmission parameter, and transmitting a discovery message at the determined transmit power level on a sidelink channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE), that is configured for demodulation reference signal (DMRS) bundling, may receive a control message that schedules first and second sets of repetitions of an uplink transmission. The UE may determine a phase coherency configuration to be applied for DMRS transmissions corresponding to each set of repetitions. The phase coherency configuration may be determined based on a phase coherency capability of the UE, and the phase coherency configuration may specify that phase coherency is to be maintained for one or more of the first set of repetitions separate from one or more of the second set of repetitions. The UE may transmit the first set of repetitions with a first set of demodulation reference signals and the second set of repetitions with a second set of demodulation reference signals in accordance with the phase coherency configuration.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for determining a target base station timing advance value between a user equipment (UE) and target base station in connection with a random access channel (RACH)-less handover procedure. In one aspect, the UE may determine the target base station's timing advance based at least in part on a timing difference between the target base station and the source base station and based at least in part on a timing offset associated with an uplink and a downlink of the UE. In some aspects, the target base station may determine the timing advance using an uplink reference signal of the UE. In some aspects, the UE may report a timing difference between the target base station and the source base station, and the source cell may determine a timing advance based at least in part on the timing difference.

Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow a UE configured with PUCCH repetitions to determine, in response to an indication from a base station to switch carriers for PUCCH transmissions, which CCs of a PUCCH group are configured for PUCCH repetitions, when CCs are configured for PUCCH repetitions, what resources in CCs are configured for PUCCH repetitions, and/or how to count PUCCH repetitions in configured CCs. For instance, the UE may receive a PUCCH configuration from a base station indicating PUCCH repetitions, receive an indication from the base station to switch between CCs in a PUCCH group for PUCCH transmissions, and determine at least one of the following configured by the base station: a subset of the CCs for the PUCCH repetitions, a time pattern of the CCs for the PUCCH repetitions, a resource allocation for each of the PUCCH repetitions, or a count for each of the PUCCH repetitions.

The UEs may switch out of the radio frequency bandwidth based on a trigger event, such as a timer expiring, receiving an indication in a downlink control information (DCI) message, or the like.

The plurality of PRT sequences includes a first PRT sequence based upon a first data rate and a second PRT sequence based upon a second data rate. The second data rate is larger than the first data rate, and the second PRT sequence is a subset of the first PRT sequence. The user equipment also includes a power amplifier operable to transmit data with the first PRT sequence according to the first data rate or with the second PRT sequence according to the second data rate.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration for a set of transmission time intervals (TTIs) including at least one TTI to be used for full-duplex communications. The UE may receive control signaling that indicates a frequency domain resource allocation (FDRA) for a physical uplink channel transmission in a first TTI. The UE may determine whether a second TTI is available for transmitting one or more repetitions of the physical uplink channel transmission based on comparing the FDRA to resources allocated to the second TTI. For example, the second TTI may be available if one or more physical resource blocks (PRBs) of the FDRA are non-overlapping in a frequency domain with downlink resources allocated to the second TTI. The UE may transmit the one or more repetitions in the second TTI based on the second TTI being available.
