Abstract: This disclosure relates to transferring data segments, and includes a method and apparatus for performing a random access channel (RACH) procedure with a network entity for transferring a first portion of a plurality of data segments from a user equipment (UE) to the network entity during a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state, wherein the RACH procedure comprises receiving a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) configuration from the network entity, the PDCCH configuration including an identified search space; and monitoring a PDCCH for PDCCH candidates addressed by a UE-specific network identifier in the identified search space for dynamic scheduling information that schedules a second portion of the plurality of data segments.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, configuration information including an indication of relaxation criteria and one or more relaxation parameters associated with radio link monitoring (RLM) or beam failure detection (BFD) relaxation. The UE may apply RLM or BFD relaxation in accordance with the one or more relaxation parameters based at least in part on a determination that the relaxation criteria are satisfied. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may transmit, and a user equipment (UE) may receive, configuration information related to a random access procedure. For example, in some aspects, the configuration information may include a physical random access channel mask configuration based at least in part on a random access occasion density in a time and frequency domain in a cell served by the base station, a random access response configuration based at least in part on an indication transmitted from the UE to the base station, and/or the like. Accordingly, the UE may perform the random access procedure based at least in part on the configuration information, which may be indicated to the UE in system information, radio resource control signaling, and/or the like. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit capability information indicating a first capability associated with a core network based UE subgrouping type and a second capability associated with a UE identifier based subgrouping type. The UE may receive, from a base station, an indication of whether the base station supports one or more UE subgrouping types, of the core network based UE subgrouping type and the UE identifier based subgrouping type. The UE may monitor a selected paging occasion based at least in part on the capability information and the indication. Numerous other aspects are described.

ENHANCEMENTS TO SUPPORT MULTIPLE SEMI-PERSISTENT RESOURCE ALLOCATIONS PER SERVING CELL

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for supporting multiple semi-persistent resource allocations per serving cell. Embodiments include determining an association between one or more semi-persistent resource allocations and one or more identifiers. Embodiments include receiving signaling indicating activation or deactivation of at least one of the one or more semi-persistent resource allocations. Embodiments include determining an identifier of the at least one of the one or more semi-persistent resource allocations based on the association. Embodiments include sending an acknowledgment of the activation or deactivation. The acknowledgment may indicate the identifier of the at least one of the one or more semi-persistent resource allocations.
