Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) are described. A UE may establish communication with a set of transmission reception points including a first transmission reception point and a second transmission reception point. The UE may receive a single control message including one or more respective timing advance indications for uplink channel transmissions to one or more respective transmission reception points. In some examples, each timing advance indication may identify a respective transmission reception point using a respective timing advance value. The UE may determine a first timing advance value for the uplink channel transmissions based on the one or more respective timing advance indications identifying a respective transmission reception point. The UE may then transmit, to the first transmission reception point, an uplink channel transmission over an uplink channel using the first timing advance value determined for the first transmission reception point.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring a user equipment (UE) to communicate with a network entity based on a selected antenna panel reported to a network entity. An example method generally includes transmitting, to a network entity, a report including information associated with an antenna panel selected for communications between the user equipment and the network entity; selecting a starting time and a wait time to apply a configuration associated with the selected antenna panel; activating an update timer based on the starting time and the wait time; and communicating with the network entity based on the configuration associated with the selected antenna panel after expiry of the update timer.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a synchronization signal block (SSB) transmitted by a base station. The UE may receive system information that includes reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) or repeater assisted initial access information that identifies a set of SSBs that are associated with an RIS or a repeater and a modulation signature associated with the RIS or the repeater. The UE may selectively perform initial access using the SSB or search for another SSB based at least in part on the RIS or repeater assisted initial access information. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Multiple component carriers may be configured for communications between communication devices, where uplink data channel resources may be scheduled on a component carrier of the component carriers. A communication device may report, over the uplink data channel resources to another communication device, a first report for available transmission power for uplink data transmissions over the component carrier and a second report associated with available transmission power for uplink control transmissions over a second component carrier. The other communication device may use the second report to determine the available transmission power for uplink control transmissions over the second component carrier. The other communication device may schedule communication resources based on the determined available transmission power for uplink control transmissions.

An example method, performed at a transmitter, includes generating a plurality of orthogonal frequency division multiplexed (OFDM) symbols, based on a constellation associated with a modulation scheme, adjusting a phase of at least one of the OFDM symbols based on at least one parameter that depends on a non-integer multiple of a phase distance between two points on the constellation, generating a Discrete Fourier Transform spread OFDM (DFT-s-OFDM) waveform based on the OFDM symbols after the adjustment, and transmitting the DFT-s-OFDM waveform to a receiver.

Abstract: Aspects for enabling Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) communications using a plurality of transmitters across at least two supported frequency bands are disclosed. Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for uplink channel state information (CSI) reporting that supports transmission precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) selection. A user equipment (UE) may receive CSI reference signals (CSI-RSs), and may perform measurements on the CSI-RSs. The UE may transmit an uplink CSI report to a base station based on the measurements. The CSI report may include an indication of a set of one or more candidate TPMIs, rank indicators (RIs), or both. The base station may test the candidate TPMIs, one or more other TPMIs, or both, to received sounding reference signals (SRSs) and select a TPMI for subsequent signaling. The base station may transmit an uplink grant (e.g., via downlink control information (DCI)) indicating the selected TPMI. The DCI may be a single-stage DCI a timeline.
