    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may activate or release one or more semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations for group-common downlink shared channels based on signaling from a base station. For example, the UE may receive downlink control information (DCI) from the base station that includes a feedback process field, where a value of the feedback process field indicates at least one of one or more SPS configurations is to be activated. In some examples, the base station may transmit the DCI in a group-common downlink control channel or in a UE-specific downlink control channel. Additionally, the base station may transmit a deactivation message to the UE to indicate for the UE to release one or more activated SPS configurations, where the deactivation message is transmitted in a group-common downlink control channel or a UE-specific downlink control channel.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may receive, from a user equipment (UE), a message that indicates whether the UE received a downlink transmission from the base station in a first frequency range. The base station may schedule one or more reference signal (RS) transmissions in the first frequency range and one or more RS transmissions in a second frequency range based at least in part on the message received from the UE, and reschedule the downlink transmission on a component carrier in either the first frequency range or the second frequency range based at least in part on channel quality information that is determined from the one or more RS transmissions in the first frequency range and the one or more RS transmissions in the second frequency range.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a secondary cell activation message that indicates a secondary cell is to be activated at the UE in addition to a primary cell. The UE may identify, based at least in part on the secondary cell activation message, a slot location of a first portion of aperiodic reference signals for cell activation measurements and a slot offset between the first portion of the aperiodic reference signals and a second portion of the aperiodic reference signals, the slot offset comprising non-consecutive slots with respect to the slot location. The UE may measure one or more characteristics of the secondary cell based at least in part on the aperiodic reference signals.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured with a mapping between downlink control information (DCI) codepoint values, multicast configurations, and unicast configurations. A DCI may then signal to the UE to apply one of a multicast configuration or a unicast configuration to receive a shared data channel transmission. For example, for a given DCI field of a group-common downlink control channel for multicast data, one or some DCI codepoint values may be associated with values configured for a multicast configuration, while remaining codepoints are associated with values configured for a unicast configuration. In some implementations, the UE may identify which multicast configuration or unicast configuration to apply based on the mapping, a type of data transmission scheduled by the DCI, specified values for the DCI codepoint values, whether the shared data channel transmission is a retransmission, or a combination thereof.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station and while operating in a dual connectivity mode, an uplink grant in a first subframe of a set of subframes. The uplink grant may schedule transmission of uplink data. The UE may determine a second subframe of the set of subframes to transmit the uplink data and a third subframe of the set of subframes to monitor for feedback associated with transmission of the uplink data. The second subframe and the third subframe may be determined based on combinations of a primary cell time division duplex (TDD) uplink-downlink (UL-DL) configuration and a DL-reference UL-DL configuration. each of the combinations may have at least three uplink transmission subframes or three downlink monitoring subframes within a ten-subframe cycle. The UE may thus perform wireless communications in accordance with the transmission timelines.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for resource selection supporting user equipment (UE)-shared multicast feedback. In some systems, a UE and a base station may support multicast communications. The base station may configure a set of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources that the UE may use for multicast feedback messages. The base station may transmit an indication of the set of PUCCH resources to the UE, and the UE may determine to use a PUCCH resource of the set of PUCCH resources based on one or more indications from the base station. The UE may fail to receive a multicast message from the base station and may transmit a UE-shared negative acknowledgment (NACK) feedback message. The base station may re-transmit the multicast message according to a set of transmission parameters that is based on which PUCCH resource was used by one or more UEs for multicast NACK feedback.

    Abstract: Mechanisms for cross-carrier scheduling from a first cell to a second cell in a wireless networking scheme are provided.     Abstract: In embodiments of systems and methods for managing control signaling for multicast communications, a base station may transmit to a wireless device an indication of whether to monitor a group common physical downlink control channel (GC PDCCH), a wireless device-specific PDCCH for multicast configuration information, or both. The base station may determine a schedule for transmitting multicast communications to the wireless device based on a capability reported by the wireless device, and may transmit to the wireless device an indication of whether a transport block for GC multicast communications including services for multicast communications will be scheduled by the GC PDCCH, the wireless device-specific PDCCH, or both. The base station may transmit, and the wireless device may receive, the multicast communications according to the multicast configuration information and the schedule.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station during a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring occasion (PMO), first downlink control information (DCI) scheduling the UE for a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) resource on a first component carrier and for a second PDSCH resource on a second component carrier. The UE may receive, during the PMO, second DCI scheduling the UE for a third PDSCH resource on the second component carrier. The UE may identify a set of downlink assignment indices (DAIs) for the first DCI and the second DCI, where the first DCI has one or more DAIs whose values are based on the first DCI scheduling PDSCH resources on different component carriers. The UE may transmit feedback based on the set of DAIs.
