    Abstract: In multi-beam communication, the UE may assist in the scheduling of beams utilized during the multi-beam communication by improving the manner in which the quality of the beam is reported to the network. The apparatus may measure a signal received from a base station on at least one beam. The apparatus may detect a triggering event for providing CSI for the at least one beam. The apparatus may transmit an uplink transmission comprising a CSI report in response to detecting the triggering event. The apparatus may receive an uplink request from a UE for providing CSI for at least one beam. The apparatus may transmit an indication scheduling a CSI report in response to the uplink request. The apparatus may receive an uplink transmission from the UE comprising the CSI report for the at least one beam.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to user equipment reporting for updating of machine learning algorithms are provided. A user equipment (UE) applies a machine learning-based network to a set of received signal measurements. The UE determines whether an output of the machine learning-based network fails to satisfy one or more criteria. The UE communicates, with a base station (BS), a report when the output of the machine learning-based network fails to satisfy the one or more criteria. The BS communicates, with one or more UEs, a first configuration for a machine learning-based network. The BS receives, from a first UE of the one or more UEs, a report associated with a prediction error in the machine learning-based network. The BS communicates, with the first UE, a second configuration for the machine learning-based network based on the received report.

    Abstract: Some aspects described herein relate to configuring user equipment (UE) for performing sidelink (SL) random access (RA) procedures, which may include assistance from a base station or other network component. One or more parameters for performing a random access procedure with a second UE over a sidelink can be received from a base station. A first random access message can be transmitted to the second UE as part of the random access procedure over the sidelink. A second random access message can be received, from the second UE, in response to transmitting the first random access message, and as part of the random access procedure over the sidelink, where at least one of transmitting the first random access message or receiving the second random access message are based on the one or more parameters.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) determines an occurrence of an event based on one or more of criteria determined by the UE or a configuration from a base station, the event triggering an uplink beam report for the UE. Then, the UE sends the uplink beam report to a base station in response to determining the occurrence of the event. A base station configures a UE for an event that triggers an uplink beam report from the UE and receives the uplink beam report from the UE based on an occurrence of the event.
