    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described, that provide for configuration and switching between multiple groups of search space sets based on activated serving cells or activated resources for one or more serving cells. An access network entity may configure multiple groups of search space sets, and a user equipment (UE) may monitor for control information in an activated search space set group. A first group of search space sets may be activated based on a serving cell being activated, and the UE may switch to a second group of search space sets when the serving cell is deactivated. Search space set group switching also may be performed based on one or more activated bandwidth parts (BWPs). An access network entity may trigger search space set group switching using explicit signaling, based on cell activation/deactivation, based on a timer, or any combinations thereof.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Linking multiple search space sets for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) repetition may be enabled in a system. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a configured search space set association from a base station. The association may indicate, to the UE, a configuration between a first PDCCH candidate and a second PDCCH candidate. The first PDCCH candidate may correspond to a first search space set, while the second PDCCH candidate may correspond to a second search space set. The UE may monitor the first and second search space set based on the configuration. The UE may combine the first PDCCH candidate with the second PDCCH candidate monitored in the first and second search space set based on capabilities of the UE and the configuration. The UE may decode the combined PDCCH candidates along with individual PDCCH candidates.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to implementing a non-dropping rule for mini-slot based repetition of downlink channel data or control. In one example, cancelled repetition may be identified, non-cancelled remaining repetitions may be received, and acknowledgment feedback based on reception results may be generated. In another example, a plurality of time domain resource allocation (TDRA) candidate occasions may be identified where each occasion occurs within a different respective one of a plurality of mini-slots, each mini-slot carrying a different respective one of a plurality of downlink channel repetitions. A TDRA table may be maintained. The TDRA table may include TDRA entries such as location information of the plurality of TDRA candidate occasions associated with the plurality of downlink channel repetitions. The TDRA table may be maintained when at least one of the plurality of downlink channel repetitions is not decoded. A wireless communication device may refrain from dropping non-decoded downlink channel repetitions.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control information that indicates a transmit precoding matrix indicator, that identifies a precoding matrix, and a set of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) antenna ports. A first association may be between a first set of antenna indices of the precoding matrix, that form a first transmission group, and a first code-division multiplexing (CDM) group of the set of DMRS antenna ports, and a second association may be between a second set of antenna indices of the precoding matrix, that form a second transmission group, and a second CDM group of the set of DMRS antenna ports. The UE may transmit an uplink transmission according to the first association and the second association. Numerous other aspects are provided.
