Abstract: A UE may select one or more paging attributes for paging reception. The one or more paging attributes may be selected from a set of network supported paging attributes. The UE may transmit, to a network, an indication of the one or more paging attributes for paging reception. The UE may receive, from the network, a response message based on the indication of the one or more paging attributes. The response message may include a first UE group number. The first UE group number may be based on at least the one or more paging attributes. The UE may receive a paging indication including a UE group number. The UE may proceed to receive and decode the paging message associated with the paging indication when the UE group number in the paging indication matches the first UE group number. Otherwise, the UE may safely disregard the paging message.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect a beam failure at a first transmission-reception point (TRP) associated with a serving cell. The UE may transmit, to a base station via a second TRP, a scheduling request (SR) for a beam failure recovery (BFR) via a first SR physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource. The UE may detect a beam failure at a second TRP associated with the serving cell or another serving cell. The UE may transmit, to the base station, the SR via a second SR PUCCH resource with a spatial relation configured for the SR. Numerous other aspects are described.

The UE may switch from the full-duplex mode to the half-duplex mode for slots configured for the full-duplex mode based at least in part on detecting beam failure due to self-interference. In the method, the UE receives downlink control information (DCI) indicating for the UE to skip physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring or to extend a connected discontinuous reception (CDRX) active time. The DCI includes one or more of a skip indication, scheduling for a retransmission of a successfully decoded physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH), a non-zero downlink assignment with a downlink retransmission transport block (TB) size that is different than an initial downlink transmission TB size, or a non-zero uplink assignment with an uplink retransmission TB size that is different than an initial uplink transmission TB size. The UE further skips transmission of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for the DCI.
