Abstract: A central entity determines a physical cell identifier (PCI) change of an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node from a first PCI to a second PCI and sends the second PCI to the IAB node. In response to receiving the second PCI from the central entity, the IAB node changes from using the first PCI to using the second PCI for the IAB node.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, downlink control information (DCI) associated with transmission configuration information, where the transmission configuration information includes a plurality of indicators of respective reference signals. The UE may communicate, with the base station, based at least in part on the transmission configuration information. The DCI may include a field associated with a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state that includes the plurality of indicators. As an alternative, the DCI may include at least a first field associated with a first TCI state that includes a first indicator of the plurality of indicators and a second field associated with a second TCI state that includes a second indicator of the plurality of indicators. Abstract: Techniques are described for wireless communication. In one method, a user equipment (UE) receives a timing synchronization signal (TSS) and a physical broadcast channel (PBCH), with the TSS based at least in part on a timing of the TSS within a broadcast channel transmission time interval (BCH TTI); determines the timing of the TSS within the BCH TTI; and demodulates the PBCH based at least in part on the TSS. In another method, a base station allocates resources for a TSS and a PBCH within a BCH TTI; determines the TSS based at least in part on a timing of the TSS within the BCH TTI; and transmits, on the resources allocated for the TSS and the PBCH, the TSS and the PBCH, with the TSS transmitted as a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) for the PBCH on at least one port used to transmit the TSS and the PBCH.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for protecting high priority symbols from beam switching. In some aspects, a method comprises identifying potential beam switching time spots in a time interval. The method further comprises determining a time interval configuration of the time interval based on the identified potential beam switching time spots, wherein the time interval configuration protects one or more high priority symbols from beam switching at the potential beam switching time spots. The method further comprises transmitting the time interval configuration to a user equipment (UE).

Abstract: A parent access node may establish a first link with a child access node. In some cases, the parent access node may determine to release a resource of the first. The parent access node may transmit downlink signaling indicating release of the resource. As such, the child node may schedule a child link resource (e.g., a parent-controlled resource) corresponding to the released resource. The child node may then communicate with a child node of its own in accordance with the scheduling of the child link resource. In some cases, the resource release indication may be associated with a one-time resource release, or may be associated with a semi-persistent release (e.g., until the parent node reclaims the released resources). In some examples, the child node may transmit an uplink message to request resources from the parent node (e.g., and the resource release may be based on the request).

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless node may determine a configuration for interference measurement at the first wireless node, which may indicate a set of uplink resources for uplink reference signals and a beam sweeping configuration. Additionally, or alternatively, the configuration may indicate one or more resource sets configured for interference measurement. In some cases, the first wireless node may determine a set of transmission beams for the uplink reference signals based on the beam sweeping configuration, and the first wireless node may transmit the uplink reference signals via all of the transmission beams supported by the first wireless node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for partitioning of time-frequency resources for access and backhaul links separately. A centralized scheduler in a centralized system or a set of access nodes (ANs) in a distributed system may allocate a portion of a set of resources for a given link type (e.g., access or backhaul). In some cases, multiple ANs may exchange reports or measurements to determine the resources to allocate to a given link type. The allocated resources may be repurposed for use by a different link type (e.g., access resources may be repurposed and used for backhaul resources) in order to account for varying traffic conditions.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may identify a set of power configurations for a plurality of communications with at least one target device. The set of power configurations may be based at least in part on a type of signal, a type of channel, a parameter of the wireless device, a parameter of the target device, or a combination thereof. The wireless device may then determine a duplexing mode for the plurality of communications based at least in part on the set of power configurations. The duplexing mode may be, for example, a full duplex mode or a half-duplex mode. The wireless device may then transmit the plurality of communications to and/or receive the plurality of communications from the at least one target device according to the set of power configurations and the selected duplexing mode.
