    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive a control message that triggers reception of CLI reference signals for CLI measurements. The first UE may adjust a reception timing of the first UE for the CLI measurements. The first UE may adjust the reception timing during a time interval that occurs after the control message is received and in accordance with a rule to align the reception timing of the first UE with a transmission timing of a second UE. The transmission timing of the second UE may be associated with transmission of the CLI reference signals from the second UE. The first UE may perform the CLI measurements using the adjusted reception timing in accordance with the rule. The first UE may transmit a report to the network entity that indicates one or more CLI metrics corresponding to the CLI measurements.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of a quantity of reference signals that the UE supports for measuring CSI within one or more slots. A base station may determine a quantity of reference signals to transmit to the UE for CSI measurement based at least in part on the indication. The UE may receive, and the base station may transmit, one or more reference signals in a slot of the one or more slots based at least in part on transmitting the indication of the quantity of reference signals, and may transmit an indication of one or more measurements of the received one or more reference signals.     Abstract: Techniques for wireless communications are described. A first device may communicate with a second device using a first beam. Based on communicating with the second device, the first device may indicate a reference signal associated with a different beam to indicate that the different beam associated with the reference signal is preferred for subsequent communications. The reporting device may switch to the different beam based on transmitting the indication of the reference signal. Based on switching to the different beam, the reporting device may determine a communication parameter based on the indicated reference signal and communicate with the scheduling device using the second beam based on the determined communication parameter.
