Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to measure and report a beam combination parameter to a base station to improve generation of a dynamic beam for beamformed communications. In some examples, the UE may measure the beam combination parameter in terms of angular spread/coverage area of individual beams, array or signal gains at antennas or panels of the UE, additional panel/antenna module related information, etc. Based on the reported beam combination, the base station may generate the dynamic beam and indicate a beam configuration to the UE for subsequent communications. In some examples, distinct beam combination parameters may be reported for each component carrier or subband in a carrier aggregation (CA) configuration (e.g., inter-band CA or intra-band CA).

An example method may include transmitting, to a second UE, a SL BWP switching request message requesting a switch from a first BWP to a second BWP. The example method may further include receiving, from the second UE, an SL BWP switching decision message confirming the switch from the first BWP to the second BWP. The example method may further include switching from the first BWP to the second BWP upon receiving the SL BWP switching decision message. The example method may further include transmitting, to the second UE, an SL BWP switching confirmation message confirming the switch from the first BWP to the second BWP. The example method may further include reverting back to the first BWP.

Abstract: Channel state information (CSI) request procedures are disclosed for use in wireless communication systems. The serving base station transmits an identifier, which signals that the aperiodic reference signal will be transmitted, either in the same subframe or a future subframe, and then transmits the aperiodic reference signal in the designated subframe. UEs served by the base station will receive the identifier, identify a CSI request, either implicitly through the identifier signal received from the base station or explicitly through a UE-specific CSI request, and then generate a CSI report based on the aperiodic reference signal for transmission back to the serving base station.

Abstract: An aspect of this disclosure relates to a relay node, and a method of wireless communications by the relay node, including attempting to decode first code block groups of a transport block received in a resource allocation and according to a first encoding configuration. A communication device may monitor a wakeup signal monitoring occasion in an inactive duration of a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle. The communication device may transmit, in a first active duration of the DRX cycle, a channel state information (CSI) report on one or more resources based on monitoring the wakeup signal monitoring occasion. In some examples, the communication device may transmit an indication that the communication device requests reporting of the CSI report in the first active duration of the DRX cycle. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) (e.g., “victim” UE) may receive control signaling identifying a set of antenna panels of the first UE usable for measuring cross-link interference (CLI) experienced within a set of CLI resources. The first UE may perform CLI measurements on signals received from a second UE (e.g., “aggressor” UE) via the set of CLI resources and the set of antenna panels. The first UE may then transmit a CLI report associated with CLI measurements performed on the signals received via an antenna panel of the set of antenna panels. In some implementations, the CLI report includes an indication of the antenna panel, an indication one or more CLI resources from the set of CLI resources associated with the antenna panel, or a combination thereof.
