Abstract: Techniques involve managing lithium battery access on a utility vehicle. In accordance with such techniques, a wakeup circuit includes a set of inputs, a set of outputs, and control logic coupled with the set of inputs and the set of outputs. The control logic is constructed and arranged to, in response to detecting a wakeup event from circuitry of the utility vehicle via the set of inputs, close a switching apparatus of the utility vehicle via the set of outputs to connect a lithium battery of the utility vehicle to a set of loads of the utility vehicle. The control logic is further constructed and arranged to, in response to detecting a sleep event, open the switching apparatus via the set of outputs to disconnect the lithium battery of the utility vehicle from the set of loads of the utility vehicle.

Abstract: A disclosed motor control device includes: a PI controller which controls a velocity of a motor; an input unit which receives specification information including information of a weight and a center of mass of a tool; a calculation unit which calculates a gravitational torque based on the specification information; a storage which stores the gravitational torque output from the calculation unit and an integral value output from the PI controller, and outputs the gravitational torque and the integral value in response to a break signal; and a selection unit which sets, to the PI controller, the integral value output from the storage, according to a collision sensitivity input from the input unit.

Abstract: According to an embodiment, a method for compensating instantaneous power failure includes determining whether an input voltage of a plurality of power cells is less than or equal to a first threshold voltage, decreasing, when the input voltage is less than or equal to the first threshold voltage, an output frequency of the inverter, determining whether a voltage of a direct current (DC) link is greater than or equal to a second threshold voltage, and increasing, when the voltage of the DC link is greater than or equal to the second threshold voltage, the output frequency of the inverter. Overvoltage trip may be prevented at the power restoration time and overcurrent trip caused by increase in the slip frequency may be prevented. Thereby, reliability of a medium inverter may be enhanced, and a continuous operation time increased compared to the conventional cases may be ensured.

Abstract: A motor starter apparatus includes at least one semiconductor switch configured to selectively couple a power source to a motor, at least one current sensor configured to generate a current sense signal indicative of a current provided via the at least one semiconductor switch, and a control circuit coupled to the at least one current sensor and configured to cause the at least one semiconductor switch to momentarily couple the power source to the motor and identify a fault based on a behavior of the current sense signal in response to the momentary coupling. The control circuit may be configured to identify the fault responsive to detecting that a rate of change of the current in response to the momentary coupling meets a predetermined criterion.
