Abstract: A tip-down fishing rod holder comprising three legs, two plates, two arms, and a rod holder strap with a pivot pin. The various components of the fishing rod holder are held together by fasteners, some of which are pivots that allow the three legs to rotate relative to the two arms. Thus, the rod holder is configured to shift between a roughly tri-pod configuration to securely hold a fishing rod while fishing and a folded configuration in which the holder has a substantially flat configuration to provide easy transport and storage.

Abstract: A tackle box equipped with a fishing rod holder, configured to facilitate the resting of a fishing pole, even while in use, in a secure manner is described. The tackle box is equipped with an extendable support, equipped with a location in which an end of a handle of the fishing rod or pole may be placed. A rest is configured to extend up and away from a top and side of the tackle box, functioning as a fulcrum to aid the stability of the tackle box when holding a rod in an upright position. The rest is equipped with a V-shaped cutout in which a midsection of the handle of the fishing pole may securely rest. A lip of the extendable support maintains contact with the pole, counteracting the force applied to the rod by the fish, preventing the pole from toppling over. Weight of the tacklebox itself is employed to counteract the force exerted on the rod by the fish to maintain stability.

Abstract: The fishing rod rack gives the user a place to secure several fishing rods in a truck bed. The fishing rods are held by clips positioned on two posts, which are inserted into openings in the truck bed. The secure clips prevent the fishing rods from falling out of the rack, but the clips can also be adjusted and opened so the fishing rods may quickly be removed once needed. Furthermore, there is a rubber string on each post that runs from the top of the post to an eye hook towards the base of said post.

Abstract: The fishing rod handling device is an apparatus that can reduce the amount of stress received by wrists of users when reeling in game fish. To accomplish this, the device includes a handle attachment and a forearm grip attachment that may be detachably mounted onto a fishing rod. The handle attachment allows a user to hold the fishing rod in a comfortable position, since the handle attachment is oriented in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the fishing rod. Further, the forearm grip attachment allows users to rest their forearms in a stable position, such that users may hold the handle attachment with their wrists and forearms in alignment. Additionally, a shoulder strap may be attached to the handle attachment, to provide additional support. Thus, the device allows for a strong and stable grip without causing any wrist injuries when reeling in game fish.

The height is generally thirteen (13) to nineteen (19) inches which is knee height to aid in ease and speed of access to the fishing rods.
